Risk Analysis Division — Risk MAP Levee Coordination  FEMA and USACE Coordination efforts have intensified and will continue to be important in the future. Guidance issued and actions taken are more complementary and less contradictory.  FEMA and Other Agencies FEMA also coordinates with other federal and state agencies.

Risk Analysis Division — Risk MAP Levee Challenges  Challenges include: Obtaining data and documentation to determine whether to accredit, provisionally accredit, or de-accredit. Preparing mapping products that accurately depict existing hazards and risks behind levees Explaining the hazards and risks to community officials and citizens
