My name is Ella Lutz. I was born in the state of Washington on March 18, When I was four I moved to Canton, Georgia. I am now currently living in Austin, Texas and 10 years old. Mr. Cook is my 4 th grade teacher and inspired me to write this book. I am going to start volunteering at an animal shelter. And I am soon going adopt to a puppy.

Do not read this book straight through from beginning to end! These pages contain many adventures you can have. From time to time as you read along, you will be asked to make choices. Mr. Black sits at his desk all day, and waits for something exiting to happen to put in his news paper. But now he is up and on his feet all because of a contest. That contest is to find the golden sphinx, which is in the pyramid of Queen Helen. The winner will get a prize of one million dollars and go down in history. Thirteen year old Marton and Gretta are trying to do just that. And you will be their companion. Gretta, Marton and you are all ready at the beginning of the pyramid. You see two enterces. P.3 You enter the dark and murky entrance. You get out your lantern and turn it on. In front of you is a pitch black river. You must cross the river. You see a bridge and a rope hanging from the stone cling. The bridge (A) is wooden old looks and rotting, but you can’t make it out. The rope (B) looks worn and not very safe. P.4 You go into the darkness and fall into a deep hole and need a way out. In the hole you see a small passage (A) that has little torches illuminating the way. P.5 You choose to swing across on the rope. You grasp the rope and swing across. When Gertta and Marton get across you see two large holes in the wall. One has a dim light coming from it, (A). P.6 You choose to cross the bridge. All of you walk across the bridge. In the middle you hear a snap. And before you know it all of you fall into the water. Then all of you are sucked into the Heartless Water Spirit’s lair,who lives in the murky waters. Click Here to Start Over

P.7 You go down the passage and in the middle there is a large stone box. What do you do? Do you (A) stop and open the box. Or do you (B) ignore the box and keep going. If you choose (A) go to page 11. Click Here Click Here If you choose (B) go to page 12. Click Here Click Here

P.8 You decide to climb the rope. When you when you are at the top you here a low rumble. And when you look up you see a large dragon. Be for you even start to escape the dragon picks all of you up, puts you in an old cage to keep you as a pet. Click here to start over.

P.9 You crawl into the hole and, SWOOSH! You, Marton, and Gretta all get sucked into a large pit of Egyptian Quick Sand. (One of the most deadly kinds around.) Click here to start over

P.10 You go through the lit up hole and end up in a hall way. Then you notice around the corner you see an exit out!!!! So you run out thinking, “I’m glad we made it out alive!!!” Click here to start over.

P.11 You open the box, inside there is the golden sphinx!!! When you get home you find out that it is a fake. But you still get $100 for braving the opsiclels of the pyramid. Click here to start overClick here to start over.

P.12 You keep going and then you get to a room with heaping piles of gold. And in the corner there is the golden sphinx!!! When you get out with the sphinx, mobs of people are cheering for you. And waiting for you was the President who gave you $1,000,000! Click here to start over
