Students in the City of Boston can choose from a diverse portfolio of schools 2 BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS Boston Public Schools School Year Students of Boston 71 Schools Tradi- tional District 6 Schools12 Schools Turn- around* “Special” District includes schools for students with disabilities, English Language Learners, and alternative/over-age. Note that two turnaround schools are also pilot schools, and are reflected in both categories.
