Welcome to Mrs. Carowan’s 1 st grade!

Hello! Hello, hello! It’s a brand new year. Filled with fun and learning, Nothing to fear. Sit back and listen, Lend me an ear, I’m your teacher for the rest of this year!

Mrs. Carowan Room 208

About me! I love teaching! My family includes Mr. Carowan (Air Traffic Controller Retired), Andy (Appalachian State University Hospitality and Tourism major), and Sam (North Carolina State University Engineering major). I have lived in North Carolina for 23 years, but I am proud to be from East Tennessee! I’m a huge Tennessee Volunteer football and basketball fan, but I also pull for the ASU Mountaineers and NCSU Wolfpack since my boys are students at those schools! I love reading, going to the beach, scrapbooking, and spending time with my family!
