Will your plan and observation schedule work? Success Criteria YesNo Are factors identified during game of basketball Will your method used influence the performer Will your method alter the game of basketball Will the game be realistic Will the game be fair, but challenging Can you ensure the data gathered is accurate, consistent over observation schedules Could your test be repeated Does the data provide a permanent record which could be look back at Is the data easy to understand Will you be able to see strengths easily

Why will your plan and observation schedule work? Questions 1.How will you ensure that the game is fair but, still challenging? 2.How can you be sure the information you collect will be accurate?

Method of data collection Brief description of methodWHY appropriate Video recording Observation Schedule

Method of data collection Brief description of methodWHY appropriate Video recording Slow motion, paused, replay, Accurate and detailed Visual evidence Permanent record Recorded during game Doesn’t alter game Didn’t impact on performer Observation Schedule Completed using video recording to ensure accurate Easy to complete Easily identify strengths & weaknesses Focuses on all basketball skills Permanent record Compared to later data to retest
