Nature of noise pollution Examples of noise pollution How the government solves these problems Our suggested solutions Feelings Reference

Nature of noise pollution The noise is the sound that intrudes our daily life to annoy the human being It might cause mental and physical diseases In some serious cases, noise pollution may cause hearing problems or even deafness

Examples of noise pollution Sound from vehicles The noise is produced by the engine, the bell and the music by the car, especially when the road is crowded. When you are walking in the streets, have you ever heard of the noise produced by the vehicles?

Road construction project The noise is produced while the construction workers are repairing the road by using the drilling machine. The loud noise may cause deafness to the workers too. The sound is extremely annoying, isn’t it? Do you hate these hateful noises?

Construction sites The noise is produced by the piling process during the construction of buildings. These noises are very loud and they may disturb the schools nearby. Also, it may also cause mental stress or some diseases to those residents who lives nearby. The project of building construction is usually large, And the dB, about 115dB, is very high in these Construction sites.

Disco The loud music in the disco is an example of noise. It makes you feel exciting and enjoyable but it harms your ears very hardly. It also makes you feel annoyed too if you stay there for a very long time. It’s very exciting here!! But Do you know it’s very loud here?

How the government solves these problems?? Set up noise-control laws Build up the roadside barriers near the school and the residential areas

installing new air-conditioning units in government offices To punish the law-offended people for penalty

Our suggested solutions 1)Low down the volume of the hi-fi while we are listening to music 2)Educating people in primary and secondary schools 3)Holding anti-noise pollution talks by educators and environmental groups 4)promoting noise reduction by the speaking of the well-known and famous stars and the popular singers

Feelings Before doing this project, we know NOTHING about the noise pollution. Also, we felt very difficult to do this project. But after doing this power point, we know lots of vocabularies and the importance of reducing noise pollution. The project makes us become hanging together. THANK YOU MISS WU Therefore, THANK YOU MISS WU to give us the chance to do this project~~~!!!
