Activity Based On Video: Gross Anatomy

Initiate class discussion with the following questions:

At the beginning of the video, did the students work as a team in the gross anatomy lab? Why? Why not?

Why did Joe act as though he didn’t need to study for med school? Why did he go out of his way to annoy his professors and team members?

What were some of the personality characteristics of Dr. Rachel Woodruff? Why did she repeatedly challenge Joe?

What qualities was Dr. Woodruff trying to bring out in Joe?

At what point did you sense camaraderie amongst the individual team members?

Make a list of individual attributes that are desirable in order to work as a team?

With your assigned team, design a poster that represents how individuals can come together and work as one.
