Woyzeck Shave Scene This is a scene taken from the first real German Expressionistic play, that would set standards for a movement to come. This movement set up genres that we now: refer to as Film Noir and Horror. With this short scene I have tried to get as close to replicating the essence of German Expressionism, with out compromising the meaning with aesthetics. This scene takes place when Woyzeck is giving his captain a shave. This is a pivotal scene which confronts both interior motives and believes with a shift in power, making it a most ideal scene to represent the movement.
