This is the same sign for to-SHOW, as in demonstrate.

See how the 4 hand draws the lines like a grid like on a calendar?

Notice how the hand shows the suns position as it is going down on the horizon day after day.

Here, the palm faces up to show the sun rising. The sign moves from left to right to represent one morning after another.

For signs like EVERY-WEDNESDAY the day of the week moves down to show it occurring week after week, just like Wednesdays show up in a vertical line on a calendar.

For EVERY-WEEKEND this is no short cut. You must use the sign for EVERY and WEEK and END.

For some, there is an alternate sign: B circles in at the mouth.

For some, there is an alternate sign: L circles in at the mouth.

For some there is an alternate sign: D circles in at the mouth.

Ready

See the legs as they jump out of bed?

This sign represents the sun going down for the night, rotating around the earth and coming back up again.

Use this sign to show approximation of time, etc..

The sign for physical change is different. This actually means to swap, or trade. Your clothes down physically change, you just switch them out.

See the U shape that represents the legs jumping into bed?

This sign means SET-UP or ESTABLISH. It is also used for making an APPOINTMENT.

FOR-FOR is used to ask “What-for?” and “Why?”, etc.

This illustration is a little wonky. The sign actually moves down and not across and actually looks like drawing a question mark in the air.

See how the finger touches only once in a while?

“USE” means to use something. But, it also represents using some things you wear….such as glasses, shoes, belts, etc. But we wear a shirt…which will use a different sign.

This sign represents the agitation motion the washing machine makes.

The sign for to- WEAR is the same as CLOTHES.

The sign for to-USE is used for things other than clothes, such as shoes, glasses, belt, etc.

This is also the sign for VOLUNTEER and APPLY.
