MARBLE FALLS ISD Gifted and Talented Program Horizons Fall 2011

Mission The Marble Falls ISD Gifted and Talented Program exists to meet the social, emotional, and cognitive needs of an identified student population through individualized instruction, enrichment and extension.

Vision The Marble Falls ISD Gifted and Talented Program will offer opportunities for students to explore and enrich their giftedness in core subjects, humanities and fine arts.

Goals The Horizons Program teachers will have program guidelines that meet the affective and academic needs of students.

Nominations Students may be nominated at any time. Phase I of assessment takes place in November and April. Phase II of assessment takes place in December and May. Qualifying students begin services in January and August.
