Penrice – CCG Meeting Blasting – Draft Environmental Outcome No nuisance to adjacent residents and sensitive receptors per definition of the relevant Australian Standard, currently AS (2006) Blasting will occur on weekdays (excluding Public Holidays) between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm. Where the number of blasts in any year is estimated to be more than 20% above the average of the last 5 calendar years annual blast number, this will be communicated to the PCCG and community. Environmental Criteria for Measurement Blasting complies with Australian AS (2006) for overpressure (noise) (115dB environmental limit with 5% to a maximum of 120dB) and vibration levels (environmental limit 5 mm/s with 5% to a maximum of 10 mm/s) Not more than 1% of the annual blasts will be out side these times Strategies for Management Compliance with Penrice Mine Operating Manual (procedure reference QFM2) Overpressure and vibration levels will be measured during all scheduled blast activities Blast modelling will be introduced using available industry technology. Penrice will engage with community on alleged blasting damage to private infrastructure and investigate. Any mitigation measures will be determined and implemented based on investigation outcomes. Ongoing review of new blasting technology to reduce vibration and air pressure Ongoing training of blast technicians Visual blast records and monitoring data maintained for each blast event Annual audit of blast procedures by external parties

Penrice – CCG Meeting Key Overburden Issues 2007 recognized insufficient space for overburden Storage overburden in the east area since early 1990 ’ s Mostly for low grade limestone in future years Space impacted by height cap of the eastern storage area 2M mt behind minimum extraction plan (Maptek) requirements 4M mt planned in 2008 of both schist & low grade limestone to economically match out the internal haul fleet capacity Storing low grade limestone in the north end of pit that will increase in coming years as the west face storage area is crushed to consume this inventory – 3M mt. Extraction volumes limited in the last 5 months due to space issues Consistent at all meetings with space issue and time constraints

Penrice – CCG Meeting CCG - MPL and Whole of Mine review Gerlach land purchase contracted in December 2007 In discussions with PIRSA since March 2008 on the MPL and the process with statutory consultation completed in August 2008 Agreed with PIRSA for CCG to review environmental outcomes for whole of mine operation (not just the west MPL area) This process will take another 6 -9 months

Penrice – CCG Meeting Strategic Visual Amenity Plan Development  Visual Amenity is established through land form and vegetation, Oxigen are working up a strategic plan for the site covering Existing Mine Area  Increase plantings and renew poor or dead vegeatation and under-story plantings to increase wildlife habitat – see map Eastern Area  Estimated 30,000 trees/shrubs required for completion of eastern face at 12000/annum  Plantings on the north & east faces to RL400 in progress  Grass west face of eastern mound - low grade limestone and iron stone road benches Western Area  Interim MPL proposal Outside Mine Boundary  In conjunction with council/residents/land owners agree a tree planting regime. (Suggested areas include areas of Stockwell Road & Penrice Road)

Penrice – CCG Meeting Interim WEST MPL (South-block) This will allow PSP to continue mine operations for 9 – 12 months This time will be needed to review all the environmental outcomes for the whole of mine site by the CCG and To investigate other OB disposal options that are economical operationally practical and do not limit the ability to extract high grade limestone OXIGEN plan Lease conditions are as detailed by PIRSA A MARP with environmental outcomes and criteria are being finalized to match the newly issues lease conditions Penrice is committed to finding solutions to community concerns
