The Facts About the Hubbard ISD Bond Election 2008

 Early Voting  October 20 – October 31, 2008  8:00am to 5:00pm Monday – Friday  Late voting till 7:00pm on October 23 & 30  At  Hubbard ISD Central Administration Building  1803 North West 4 th Street

 General Election / Tuesday, November 4 th, 2008 – 7:00am – 7:00pm  Main Voting Location  Hubbard City Hall  Precincts;Hill County  Mt. Calm, Penelope, Malone  Precincts: Limestone County / Coolidge  Navarro County / Dawson

 Bond Issue Facts  8 Million Dollar Bonded Indebtedness  State Pay Approximately 65%  Hubbard Taxpayers Pay Approximately 35%  Total Years to payout – 25

 Property Tax Impact  Average Hubbard Home Value - $67,  Home Value 2009/2010 Monthly Increase  $50,000 $ 9.25  $75,000 $15.86  $100,000 $22.46  Over 65 or Disabled $0.00 Homeowners over 65 years of age or disabled (with homestead exemption on file) taxes will remain frozen. Facilities Provided by Bonds  A New Competition Gym- to include dressing rooms, weight room, lobby and concession.  The Elementary Campus will move to the current Junior High Location  A New Junior High Wing  A New High School Wing  A New Jr/Sr Central Use Wing sharing Library, Offices, Computer Labs, Science Lab, and Foreign Language Lab.  New Access Roads off Hwy 31  Relocation of pre-kindergarten portable to the hwy 31 campus

 The classrooms and shared use facilities for the junior and senior high wings are composed of approximately 29,000 square feet of permanent modular construction.  Permanent Modular Construction combines the quality of conventional-site-built construction with the efficiency of factory-built modular construction placed on conventional concrete foundation systems.  The interior and exterior of the buildings are finished-out on site to district specifications and customization.
