TRIBAL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES PROGRAM (TCUP)

Purpose of the Program To assist Tribal Colleges and Universities to: Build, expand, renovate, and equip their own facilities; and Expand the role of the TCU into the community through the provision of needed services such as health programs, job training and economic development activities. Eligible Applicants Tribal Colleges and Universities that meet the definition of a TCU established in Title III of the 1998 amendments to the Higher Education Act of TCU must be accredited or a candidate for accreditation. Award Information In FY 06, approximately $3.1 million has been made available for award. Application Format The narrative section of the application must not exceed 50 pages (excluding forms, budget narrative, assurances, and abstracts). The application must be doubled spaced on one side, with one inch margins from top to bottom, left to right and printed in standard 12 point font. Each page must include the applicant’s name and should be numbered.
