BACKGROUND According to NHTSA and the Indian Highway Safety Program, alcohol related crashes are nearly 70% in Indian Country. Interventions Safety Clan: Indian Health Service IP, Turtle Mountain PD, Tribal Court, MADD, VOC, Schools, Alcohol and Drug Prevention Programs, Tribal Government joined together to address alcohol and drug related death and injury.
