AAD Saves in 2007 Minimum 42, but this is difficult to monitor due to service being carried out ‘in the field’. 817 AAD saves (minimum) have been reported through the T & S AAD Survey in the fourteen years from 1994 to 2007 inclusive. In many cases much can be learned from an AAD firing. This information should be used to add to our knowledge, leading to improved training and briefing programmes for skydivers and an increased awareness of safety issues.
