Do not contend with a man without cause, If he has done you no harm.
Contention destroys fellowship Proverbs 18:19 -- A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city, And contentions are like the bars of a citadel.
Proverbs 18:6 --A fool's lips bring strife, And his mouth calls for blows.
Proverbs 26:17 -- Like one who takes a dog by the ears Is he who passes by and meddles with strife not belonging to him.
Proverbs 25:24 -- It is better to live in a corner of the roof Than in a house shared with a contentious woman.
Galatians 5:15 -- But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.
James 3: But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.
