Mission Statement 5/5/2015 The mission of J. Turner Hood Elementary School is to provide an environment that educates and challenges students to their fullest potential. J. Turner Hood students will become confident lifelong learners with social, intellectual and critical-thinking skills that will enable them to function as productive citizens in their communities.

Turner Hood School will provide a dynamic and pro-active, high quality education that will enable all students to reach their full potential within a safe, responsible, respectful environment. J. Turner Hood School Staff will strive to promote a safe, responsible and respectful environment. Furthermore, we strive to meet the needs of our 21 st century learners within a technologically progressive curriculum.
