HOW DO STUDENTS QUALIFY??? HOW DO STUDENTS QUALIFY???

MSMS BULL RUSH THE MSMS BULL RUSH IS A 2 MILE OBSTACLE COURSE THAT WILL TEST RACERS’ PATIENCE, STRENGTH, AND ENDURANCE. THIS RACE WILL FEATURE 10 OBSTACLES STRATEGICALLY PLACED THROUGHOUT THE COURSE CHALLENGING RACERS AS THEY MAKE THEIR WAY TO THE FINISH LINE! THE RACE WILL FEATURE A BRONZE, SILVER, AND GOLD HEAT BEGINNING AT 8:30 AM AND CONCLUDING AT 2:30 PM ON MAY 15 TH, 2015.

MAVERICK MOUNTAIN “MAVERICK MOUNTAIN” will be a mountain of dirt demanding lower body strength and determination from each racer. The racer will run/climb to the top and then scale back down the other side of the mountain.

BLOW UP BLAST OFF The “BLOW UP BLAST OFF” is an inflatable that will test of the racer’s agility and upper body strength as they dodge through obstacles and then climb a vertical wall. They will exit the inflatable by sliding down the exit chute continuing their journey to the “MAVERICK MUD PEN.”

MAVERICK MUD PEN The “MAVERICK MUD PEN” is a mud pit testing each racer’s true grit as they crawl through 50 feet of thick, wet, mud that will leave the racer soaked and covered as they make their way to “HAY BALE HAVOC.”

Tractor tire TOWER “TRACTOR TIRE TOWER” features a stack of tires racers must climb continuing on to “THE WATERING HOLE” where they will finally have a chance to wash off the remainder of “MAVERICK MUD PEN.”

THE WATERING HOLE The “WATERING HOLE” features a series of trenches that racers inch through giving them a chance to “cool off” and wash away the remnants from the “MAVERICK MUD PEN.” Racers will have to inch their way through the watering holes followed by a muddy hurdle continuing on to “THE BLACK HOLE.”

THE BLACK HOLE “THE BLACK HOLE” is a series of long, black, tunnels that will give racers a chance to reflect on their performance as they inch their way crawling through a dark tunnel partially buried at the foot of “MAVERICK MOUNTAIN.”

THE COLOR SPLASH This obstacle features students lined up along the course who will launch packets of colored dye as racers make their way to the hardcore hurdles.

HARDCORE HURDLES “HARDCORE HURDLES” is a series of climbing walls that will test each racer’s patience, endurance, and strength! This obstacle features two 2 walls each racer will have to hurdle with the assistance of a rope and footholds attached to the wall.

BUNGEEE SPIDER WEB The “BUNGEE SPIDER WEB” features a massive web of bungee cords intertwined! Racers will have a true test of patience trying to weave their way through the web of bungee cords in this obstacle. Once through the web, each racer will face just a ¼ mile to the finish line.

TRIP-UP TIRES “TRIP UP TIRES” will feature several tires laid out on the course that racers will have to make their way through as they approach the finish line. At this point, high knees through tires will be the last thing racers will want to do. This obstacle will serve as a test of balance and coordination as racers tip-toe their way through the tires and on to the finish line.
