Description Pink dolphins can be bright pink but sometimes subtle. They have a long and wide beak with cone-shaped teeth. They also have short hairs to tell them if something delicious is swimming by.

Habitat They live in Brazil. People say that the layer they live on is the forest floor. But actually they live under it. They are surrounded by poisonous river snakes, and alligators!

Food They eat fish and crustaceans. Their teeth are not strong because they usually swallow their food whole. Also sometimes they eat leaves that are drooping over the river.

Enemies Humans kill them a lot to study because they are so hard to find. They protect themselves by their diving. When they dive only their blowhole and their dorsal ridge come out of the water.

Interesting facts 4 interesting facts about the pink river dolphin are. They are considered the smartest dolphin. They usually have 5 babies. They can live up to 40 years. Because they could easily die while sleeping they only rest half their brains.
