Sara Hannam - Associates' Coordinator And In Conclusion “I think there is still - perhaps more than ever - a need for teacher associations which can instil in their members a strong sense of belonging to a wider international community of caring and committed professionals. In order to do so, teacher associations have to become more conscious of what they can offer and of what helps or hinders their work. I believe in this way we can tap into the vast energy source that language educators can create together”

Sara Hannam - Associates' Coordinator A Word About Our Raffle…  We have a lot of countries represented here  But we could always have more  What reason would you give to encourage other TAs to attend Associates’ Day?  Anyone who comes up with a good reason and sticks it here to the wall will get a raffle ticket  It doesn’t matter if you repeat each other, but let’s try to get as many as we can!  I will then compile them into a text which we can send out to all associates  At the end of the day, we will raffle some books and other prizes

Sara Hannam - Associates' Coordinator Finding Out More….  Does your TA have a newsletter?  Do you send a copy to IATEFL Head Office and to me?  It would be nice to have some insights into the work that TAs do and how their publications are produced  It would be good to discuss how we can utilise each other’s newsletters and exchange more ideas
