The typical lead time for Full Service deliveries of mattresses, foundations and adjustable bases, is 14 to 21 BUSINESS DAYS from the date the order is processed in our system. Business days are considered Monday through Friday only. Please inform your patients and adjustors, insurance companies or case managers of this fact. Make certain that they are aware of this prior to the order and that if they request delivery status prior to that time frame, that the bed will be tracked only after the 19th business has passed and the patient has not heard from the delivery company.

Please ask the client to have the space cleared where the bed will be assembled. They will only remove old mattresses, foundations and metal frames. If the product is scratched or damaged please make sure it is noted on the delivery ticket. Expedited Shipping Quotes: We can expedite bed shipments for additional shipping fees but, it must be quoted ahead of time. Expedited shipping quotes are only good for 24 hours, after that it must be re-quoted. Removal of old bedding - If it is noted on the order when placed, and for an additional cost of $25.00, the delivery company will haul away the old mattress and box springs for the patient. Unfortunately, they will not break down existing bed frames, haul away waterbed bladders or move furniture from room to room. Insurance liability prohibits them from performing that level of service and it is NOT sanctioned or authorized by BioTech Medical or the manufacturers.

Although Tempur Material is open celled material, when the product is brand new, not all the cells are opened. which makes the product seem more firm. Once the cells are all opened up it will soften and feel like the one on display in the showroom. The mattress may have a slight odor upon removal from the plastic, but it is non-toxic and will dissipate over time. To expedite this process, the cover can be removed and laundered (gentle wash, low-temp dry). Fresh air in the room will also assist in removing any odor. Let your patients all know this up front so they know what to expect once they receive their mattress.
