WALT: Recognise and use phrases in the past tense with leisure activities. WILF: To be able to see the difference between the present tense and the past tense. You must be able to recognise 3 different tenses for grade C and above. Write translate these sentences: I play football I watch television I listen to music I ski I go to the swimming pool Extension: add a frequency word to end of these sentences to say how often you do them

How do we form the past in English? I play > I played I watch > I watched It’s the same in french…to put a verb in the past it has to be changed! …but it’s a little bit more complicated
