Titles of our 3 Poems:  The Voices Ignored by the Rich  Immigrant  No Luggage

About the Poems  All of them have some kind of meaning/theme relating society, and its problems  Free verse

George Bowering  Has won “many” literary Awards  was the first ever “Canadian Parliamentary Poet Laureate” (Official appointed Poet of the Canadian government)  Was also novelist, historian and biographer  Also was made an officer of the “Order of Canada”, which is a Canadian service award  These things relate to the fact that most if not all his poems (the ones in our Book) are political and social
