Arsenic Detection Techniques On January 22, 2001 the EPA set the standard concentration in drinking water to be 10 µg/L See Document 40 CFR Parts 9, 141, and 142 EPA provided a list of four (4) approved analytical techniques for detecting arsenic in drinking water See Document 40 CFR Reference: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Standard
Arsenic Detection Techniques In December, 1999, two (2) years prior to changing the concentration limits of arsenic in drinking water, the EPA contracted the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) to perform a thorough analysis of industry approved methods to detect arsenic in drinking water.
