We were made like God Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;” Genesis 1:26a "Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is...an image formed by the art and thought of man. Acts 17:29

We were made for God Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made. ” Isaiah 43:7 And He did so in order that He might make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory, Romans 9:23

We have been individually called, created and named by God But when He who had set me apart, even from my mother's womb, and called me through His grace… Galatians 1:15 a The Lord called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me. Isaiah 49:1b "He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work. Job 37:7

Our life span is planned before birth Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Thy book they were all written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. PSA 139:16 "Who among all these does not know That the hand of the Lord has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind? JOB 12:9-10

Each person has a special job to do And now says the Lord, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant… Isaiah 49:5a For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 1Corinthians 12:7

21 days The heart begins to beat. You are no bigger than a poppy seed.

40 days Brain waves can be detected and recorded.

6 weeks The baby responds to touch.

7 weeks Your toes were all formed and could suck your thumb.

8 weeks At a little more than one inch in length you had every part found in an adult and could grasp an object.

9 weeks Your fingerprints were evident and you could get the hiccups.

10 weeks This is the average size of a baby’s footprints at this age.

12 weeks You had your sense of taste by now.

14 weeks You could hear, had a fully developed sense of smell and could be startled. You could also feel pleasure or pain.

16 weeks You could swim, kick and turn somersaults

19 weeks This is the youngest that any baby has been born and survived. A baby this old can cry.

20-21 weeks Baby Kelly was born at 21 weeks. Her bracelet is a nurse’s wedding ring.

5 months Others besides your mom could now feel you moving. You got eyebrows and maybe head hair.

6 months You probably weighed around 3 pounds. Your eyes could open and react to light.

Holding hands with the Doctor Samuel Armas had surgery at 21 weeks while still in the womb.

Interesting things learned in the womb: A professional cellist and conductor found to his amazement that he knew the cello part to several pieces perfectly, despite having never seen the music before. His mother, also a professional cellist, had practiced those pieces while pregnant. Some parents claim to have taught their unborn children to kick on request.
