Revelation Chapter 4 Rev 4:1-3 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. John is a picture of what happens to the believer at the rapture. Notice he hears the voice as of a trumpet and immediately is caught up to God's throne. Compare this with 1 Thess 4:16. Notice also John sees an open door. This is the same open door (the rapture) which Jesus said to the Philadelphia church (Rev 3:8) that He would open to escape the trial that is coming upon the whole world (Rev 3:10) the 3 ½ year Christian tribulation and terrible 7 yr Day of the Lord.
Rev 4:1-3 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. A trumpet sound will certainly get the believer’s attention and only will they hear it. This has all the earmarks of a great deliverance from the world. Daniel was told that his people (saints) that are living will be delivered from a time of trouble among the nations such as never was since the beginning of creation. Daniel also included the resurrection of the dead as well as the rapture of the living as a deliverance from such a time (see Daniel 12:1,2). The trumpet is a call to finish the battle of the ages of good verses evil, of Satan and
his angels vs Christ and His Angels and Holy Saints his angels vs Christ and His Angels and Holy Saints. This is a trumpet call to finish the job of defeating the gates of hell. While the rapture will be a great reunion day for loved ones, it is a precursor to the most solemn and most rejoicing events as the Father gives Christ the 7 sealed book of judgments to open (Rev 5). God will complete the job of legally taking possession of the earth, destroying the works of evil, and evicting Satan and his angels from their dominion. God the Father, is the landlord over all creation and the stage is set to do things in a legal, orderly but powerfully devastating manner. These evil tenants will only leave by force, and the house of evil must be thoroughly purged. When the precious blood of Christ is rejected then the only purging process is fire and there is a lot of fire in Revelations. Daniel summed up the events of Rev 4 and 5 in Daniel 7:9,10).
When Michael sounds the trumpet at the rapture, it is not only a call to the Church for action but God’s holy angels. We know Michael and his angels are very active in the rapture process (Daniel 12:1). The Church meets the Lord in the air right in the enemies back yard as Satan is called the Prince of the power of the air (Eph 2:2). Satan would try to devour the Church in the rapture process but it is Michael and his angels that not only insure safe passage but kick out Satan and his angels from their heavenly locations down to earth. This part is told in Daniel 7:9 and confirmed in Rev 12.7. Father Revelation 12:7,9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Only after safe passage of the Church to the throne and Satan and his angels cast down does the Ancient of Days (Father) sit on His throne.
Father The first thing John records in Rev 4:2 is a throne set in heaven and one sitting on the throne. This would have to be God the Father for in Rev 5 Jesus stands before Him to take the 7 sealed book. In Daniel 7:9 we saw the same throne set up and one that sat on it called the Ancient of Days. Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
Revelation Chapter 4 Subject: Throne Throne room scene the raptured Church will see in heaven as told by John Revelation Chapter 4 Daniel called Father the Ancient of Days wearing white raiment and hair as pure wool in Dan 7:9 John saw just the glory of the Father as a precious jasper and Sardine stone. Round about was a rainbow as like an Emerald First the trumpet call to the Church. As the Holy Spirit appeared as dove upon Jesus, tongues of fire at Pentecost, now as 7 lamps as torches like the Olympics saying let the judgments of God begin 24 Elders seated around the throne clothed in white raiment and wearing crowns of gold 4 Beasts (Living Ones) A face of Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle. Each had 6 wings and eyes within and without Subject: Throne
Daniel also had a vision and saw Jesus standing before the throne to receive the Kingdom of God from the Ancient of Days – the Father. Daniel visions agree perfectly with these very same events in Revelation 4,5 except John is actually taken in the Spirit to heaven and to see these future events as they would literally happen. These visions confirm it is the Father that sits on the throne and the Father will give Jesus the title deed to the Kingdom as will see in Rev 5 as we shall see. Father Daniel 7:13,14 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
Father Revelation chart above shows Rev 12 connects with events of Rev 4,5 but from earth’s point of view (See Revelation intro and outline) Rev 12 tells us what happens to the Church just prior to and after the rapture. Events just prior to tells us Antichrist is already reigning and formed his Empire as the man of deception. After the rapture he is revealed as the man of sin, son of perdition (see chart). Rev 12 tells us Satan will try to prevent the rapture by destroying the Church on its way to the throne. Rev 12 tells us what happens to the unsaved Church left behind. Rev 12 tells us how Satan and his angels will be cast down to the earth by Michael and his Holy angels right after the rapture. Rev 12 agrees perfectly with Daniel 7:9 about thrones being cast down (Satan and his Angels) and the true Church (Manchild) being caught up to God’s throne. Rev 12 also mentions this very same throne we have been studying. Revelation 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Subject: Glory seen as Jasper and Sardine stone Throne room scene the raptured Church will see in heaven as told by John Revelation Chapter 4 Daniel called Father the Ancient of Days wearing white raiment and hair as pure wool in Dan 7:9 John saw just the glory of the Father as a precious jasper and Sardine stone. Each had 6 wings and eyes within and without Subject: Glory seen as Jasper and Sardine stone
Revelation 4:2,3 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Daniel 7:9 described the Ancient of days as wearing a garment as white as snow and his hair as pure wool. He sits as one ready to judge. Hair as pure wool and garment of white is the judicial Judge presiding over all that is taking place around His throne. This was the vision of Daniel. However, John in Rev 4:3 describes the Ancient of Days differently because, unlike Daniel, John did not have a vision but was taken in the Spirit to heaven to witness these future events as they will actual happen.
Revelation 4:2,3 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Father Ancient of Days Dan 7:9 Jasper stone John said the Father (Ancient of Days) was as one would look upon a jasper and a sardine stone. Concerning the jasper stone we read in Rev 21:10,11 that the light radiating from the New Jerusalem was like a stone most precious, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. This same glory emanated from the throne. John did not describe any visage of a image just clear and precious radiating glory above diamonds. Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Blood red Sardine stone Revelation 4:2,3 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Father Ancient of Days Dan 7:9 The Jasper stone was crystal clear – God’s sees everything in a clear light as Daniel’s judicial judge of white raiment and hair of pure wool (Dan 7:9). He knows exactly what He has to do for His wisdom and knowledge knows no bounds. Yet, when we look at Him we find no fault but perfect glory radiating in righteous judgment. Blood red Sardine stone Daniel in Dan 7:9 saw Christ as a judicial judge sitting on a fiery throne and judgment about to be poured out on the world when the 7 seals are opened. The sardine stone, another precious stone was blood red. This color represents judgment. This is not God just losing His temper but this judgment is of the highest value and design just as the precious Sardine stone.
Father sat on a throne Daniel 7:9 calls Him the Ancient of Days Revelation 4:2,3 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Father Rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Emerald is another precious stone and noted for its greenness. God on the throne is radiating His own glory and is manifesting through these different spectrum of colors the nature and message He wants to emanate. In the natural, sunlight passing though water vapour produces the rainbow colors. Here in Rev 4:2,3 the Father is the source of light. This is further confirmed when Jesus is portrayed as a might angel (might messenger) where the glory that radiates from His face is also seen as a rainbow. Revelation 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
Father sat on a throne Daniel 7:9 calls Him the Ancient of Days Revelation 4:2,3 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Father The emphasis on the rainbow in Rev 4:3 as unto an emerald is easily answered. I was born in Ireland, a land that is often referred to as the Emerald Isle. It is so green due to how much rain it gets and its climate. If one is asked what does the color green mean to them, most would say color of nature. What God is saying is that not only does He remember His Covenant with Noah to never destroy all flesh that had breath but also in that Covenant there was a promise to keep the seasons of sowing and harvest. In other words, God is going to do whatever it takes to redeem the environment, as well as not destroy all life in these judgments to follow when Christ opens the 7 seals.
Genesis 9:14-16 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. God has undertaken a massive responsibility to preserve life in the light of man’s and therefore Satan’s capability to destroy the world with weapons of mass destruction, biological and chemical. To also save the environment from global warming, reduction of the Ozone layer, and chemical pollution. Our planet is a very fragile planet and factors that affect the environment are very complex. Today, there is the melting of the polar caps which for millenniums were solid weights at the poles. Today, it is becoming liquid and that means weight displacement. If fact, this is what is behind the changing weather and increase in
earthquakes today. How much more so as time progresses. Only as one studies Book of Revelation does one begin to realize that the story of Redemption involves all of creation. Creation is out of control since Satan brought sin into creation and then sin and death in the race of Adam. Book of Revelation is the story of how Jesus Christ the eternal Son of God, the legal heir to all things became our Kinsman Redeemer when He became the Son of man. Jesus Christ is legally going to take charge of all creation. He first is going to judge it, purge it, regenerate it, and restore current heaven and earth back to God’s original purpose by make all things new not all new things. Acts 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. In the end John saw a new heaven and a new earth. This is the same heaven and earth as we know it today but made new. The old heaven and earth is not destroyed as some teach but redeemed, judged, purged, regenerated. The same is true of a
sinner that is saved. God does not destroy him but perfects him soul, body, spirit. 2 Cor 5:17 says he is made a new creature, old things pass away. This is exactly the same regenerative plan for this heaven and earth. God by His Holy Spirit and a lot of work by the Saints will make a new heaven and new earth, the old heaven and earth will pass away. This massive undertaking requires all the Saints of the ages to be Kings, priests, and joint-heirs with Jesus to do this. When John saw a new heaven and a new earth it was after all the judgments of Revelations were executed and Christ and the Saints ruled on the earth for a thousand years (see Millennium for a review of these changes to come). Jesus called this the age the age of regeneration. Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Revelation Chapter 4 Subject: 24 Elders Throne room scene the raptured Church will see in heaven as told by John Revelation Chapter 4 Daniel called Father the Ancient of Days wearing white raiment and hair as pure wool in Dan 7:9 John saw just the glory of the Father as a precious jasper and Sardine stone. Each had 6 wings and eyes within and without Subject: 24 Elders
Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. Who are the 24 elders? The answer is clearly in Rev 5:8,9 Rev 5:8,9 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Rev 1:4-6 confirm Rev 5:9,10 that the 24 elders are blood bought, redeemed and Priests and Kings forever (compare). Revelation 1:4-6 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Rev 5:8,9 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. Jesus does not appear yet till Rev 5. The rapture has taken place and God’s angels are giving directions. First it was a great reunion day. Loved ones met loved ones and related ones they never knew. There will also be the realization that loved ones they hoped would be there are not. Some of the dead will have to await the great white throne judgment while others were cast into hell. These are the bad fish, tares Jesus taught about in His parables. They were gathered into bundles according to their wickedness and cast into the furnace (hell). Others left behind at the rapture like the foolish virgins, they go into the great 3 ½ year Christian tribulation period. Jesus taught much of these truths in His parables (click here for review). Eventually after much rejoicing and sobering thoughts of loved ones not there, the Angels will separate the saints into groups. The first group of saints are the 24 elders. Another group will be the 4 beasts correctly translated ‘living ones’. Then in Rev 6 will meet another group called the 4 horsemen.
Then there are groups of angels but are really saints by what they wear and what they say. The word angel denotes the office of a messenger. Jesus is called a mighty angel in Rev 10:1 and John was told to send the 7 letters of Rev 2,3 to the angels (messengers-ministers) of the 7 Churches. John went to worship an angel and the angel said to worship God and that he was one of his brethern. Revelation 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. Revelation 22:8,9 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. The 24 elders then are one of several representative group of Saints in heaven from every kindred, tongue, people, and nation. When we get to heaven we are not going to see 24 Elders but all the saints the 24 Elders represents. Remember, what John sees in heaven is not symbolic but the action is real. John is describing heavenly things and events in the vocabulary he has. God gives John wisdom to use words that we can spiritually understand. Just like Jesus parables His Spirit bears witness with our spirits and God gives us the keys of the Kingdom to understand. This is the answer Jesus gave to his disciples when they asked Him why He spoke in parables. Matthew 13:10,11 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. The number 24 Some numbers in Bible are obvious in their symbolic meaning and others are sometimes a combination of the primary divine numbers. The number 24 used to describe the number of elders is a result of 12 + 12. In the Old Testament there was the 12 tribes. In the New Testament the 12 Apostles. 24 Elders represent both the OT and NT saints that would be caught up in the rapture and are now around the throne (list of other Divine Bible numbers click here). Elder The word elder means ‘leader’, chief men. Sitting The 24 elders are sitting and we read in Eph 2:6 that Christ has raised up the church to sit with Him in heavenly places, Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. After the rapture Christians are gathered into different groups to rule and serve with Christ. One group is the 24 elders clothed in white raiment which is the righteousness of the saints (Rev 3:5). Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Who is an overcomer? 1 John 5:4,5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? These 24 Elders are clearly over comers – blood washed saints of God
Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. Crowns of gold The Greek for crown is not diadem but a wreath as one would receive winning an Olympic race. Gold is highest divine value that this crown could be made of. The crowns are those promised to them in 2 Tim 4:8, 1 Cor 9:25). 1 Corinthians 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Subject: Thunderings, lighten- ings, voices from the throne Throne room scene the raptured Church will see in heaven as told by John Revelation Chapter 4 Daniel called Father the Ancient of Days wearing white raiment and hair as pure wool in Dan 7:9 John saw just the glory of the Father as a precious jasper and Sardine stone. Each had 6 wings and eyes within and without Subject: Thunderings, lighten- ings, voices from the throne
Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightning's and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. The rainbow around the throne like unto a emerald and God’s promise not to destroy all flesh and save the environment was seen in Rev 4:3. That was grace before judgment. John now sees and hears out of the throne lightning's, thunders and voices. When one sees lightening and hears thunder one senses an approaching storm. When God came down on Mount Sinai He sounded an exceeding loud trumpet with thunders and lightning's so that the people in the camp trembled. Exodus 19:16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. Because of the rapture, thank God we are upon the mountain with God and God is preparing us for the judgments to follow. This begins to happen when His Son Jesus Christ takes the 7 sealed title deed to the earth and sea in Rev 5 and starts to open seals in Rev 6. We will see the first 6 seals is a mixture of judgment and grace and results in millions of souls
being saved though many will be martyred being saved though many will be martyred. This time period is called the great 3 ½ year Christian tribulation period. Then follows the 7th seal (7 trumpet/vial) judgments with no grace call the terrible Day of the Lord. It’s total purpose will be to judge and cleanse the world of sin and fire will be its chief agent. The terrible Day of the Lord is the same time as Daniel’s 70th week. Between the 69th week and 70th week was the Church Age – a mystery hidden in the Old Testament but revealed in the New (see reference chart). In Rev 14:9,10 the trib period is happening and God’s messenger is flying over the earth warning those on the earth not to receive the mark of the beast or they will experience the full wrath of God poured out without mixture (no grace). Those that do not take the mark and are not killed during the trib period including the 144,000 Jews in Israel that get saved will be sealed for protection during the Day of the Lord. This sealing takes place in Rev 7 which is the heavenly view of Rev 14 the earthly view (see reference chart).
Revelation 14:9,10 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Revelation 7:1-4 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Trib Period – wrath mixed w/ grace Christ returns to earth with saved immortal Saints Pure Wrath Millenium
Voices out of the throne Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightning's and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Voices out of the throne We are not told who are what these voices say. But may I suggest these are the voices of those that turn to Christ after the rapture. These are the foolish virgins who outwardly professed to be saved, went to Church, carried a Bible, maybe sang in the choir. They had head knowledge of salvation but their heart was not converted. They had no oil (Holy Spirit) when the Bridegroom (Christ) came (Rapture) and now there is weeping and gnashing of teeth as they realize they have been left behind and go into the great 3 ½ year tribulation period. We know the 6 seals of Rev 6 (famine, pestilence, death, affliction and martyrdom, earthquakes, etc,) are opened during the trib period and Jesus mentions all of them but notice what He also says. Luke 21:10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. 13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony. 14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. The same left behind truth is told in Rev 12 where the Manchild (true Church) is ruptured (caught up) to God’s throne and the sun-clothed woman (professing Church) is left behind. The first thing she does is flee into the wilderness (world after the rapture) because she knows the great tribulation has come upon her (see trib period) Revelation 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Also we read in Rev 12:7 that immediately after the rapture Satan and his angels the old powers of the air are cast down to the earth where they fortify themselves to retain power. Christ and the raptured Saints are the new powers of the air. Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
God has heard the cries of his people before and went into action God has heard the cries of his people before and went into action. He will do so again this time with the help of His Saints. Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; Psalms 18:6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. Book of Habakkuk talks of this time of trib period and time of wrath mixed with grace. He talks of the saints going forth for salvation. The wars, famines, earthquakes, seas roaring all hinder Antichrist persecution of the tribulation saints. During this time however, the gospel will be preached from heaven by the raptured saints to every nation, tongue, tribe, family. Today, we are doing it through the internet, satellite, radio, but Antichrist will not allow that during the tribulation period but God is one up on Him. He will use the raptured saints to do it. We will see this when we study Rev 6 – the first horsemen.
Subject: 7 Spirits of God and the 7 lamps Throne room scene the raptured Church will see in heaven as told by John Revelation Chapter 4 Daniel called Father the Ancient of Days wearing white raiment and hair as pure wool in Dan 7:9 John saw just the glory of the Father as a precious jasper and Sardine stone. Each had 6 wings and eyes within and without Subject: 7 Spirits of God and the 7 lamps
Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightning's and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Do not confuse these lamps with the 7 Churches of Revelations. Those lamp stands were Menorahs these are 7 lamp stands as like you would see in Olympics. Also, these lamp stands are not objects that symbolize the Holy Spirit. These lamps are the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit manifested itself as a cloud or a pllar of fire. Exodus 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: Exodus 40:35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. In the New Testament John saw the Holy Spirit manifested Himself as a dove resting upon Jesus having received the fullness of the Holy Spirit. This fulfilled Isa 11:2 ‘The Spirit of the Lord will rest upon Him’.
Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightning's and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. When Jesus ascended into heaven He poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit on the 120 believers on the day of Pentecost appearing as ‘tongues of fire’ over each one of them. This symbol was appropriate because God was going to put their tongue on fire through the power of the Holy Spirit to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth. That is how men witnessed back then through Word of Mouth. There was no radio, television, internet, etc. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 2:2-4 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightning's and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Here now in Rev 4:5 the Father is sitting on the throne. The Holy Spirit is manifesting Himself as 7 lamp stands. One for each of His 7 offices He operates in. These 7 offices are listed in Isaiah 11:2 (see reference chart) and are wonderfully connected with Jesus when He received the fullness of the Spirit at John’s baptism. This fullness remained upon Him and after His resurrection poured out these 7 offices out on believers who are baptized in the Holy Ghost. Jesus also appears to John in His resurrection as one having the 7 Spirits of God (letter to the Church of Sardis Rev 3:1). Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
To further confirm we are taking of Jesus having the seven fold Spirit of God we are told in Zechariah God will bring forth His servant the BRANCH. Then they were told of one stone before them having 7 eyes. Zechariah 3:8,9 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. 9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. The stone is Christ the Lamb of God and the seven eyes the seven Spirits of God. This is confirmed in Luke 20:17, Rev 5,7 Luke 20:17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Sea of glass like crystal Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. Sea of glass like crystal When I was on the sea, I would sea the ocean all around me as far as I could see to the horizon because of the curvature of the earth. Here in Rev 4:6 extending out as far as one can sea is a sea of glass not waves. Glass would be flat but have a high luster of reflection. Whether we are sitting or standing we would look down into that sea of glass and see ourselves perfected body, soul, and Spirit and continually marvel at the transformation of our corruptible mortal bodies now immortal, weak but now strong, vile and now glorified. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. 1 Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Sea of glass that we are sitting or standing on symbolizes the pure Word of God. Crystal, again like the precious stones of Jasper, Sardis, represent the finest finished work that the Word of God did in us. Crystal glass is like fine linen. When Moses was commanded to make the tabernacle a dwelling place for God, he was told to be sure to make it exactly as he was told because it was a pattern of things in heaven. In the outer court there was the brazen alter which was a picture of Calvery and been washed in the blood. The other piece of furniture was the laver. The priests before they could enter the Holy place had to wash at the laver. The laver was made of fine brass that was donated by the women’s looking glasses (EX 38:8) to wash any defilements they saw. Exodus 38:8 And he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the looking glasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. As the brazen alter in the Tabernacle was a picture of Calvery with its sacfice to cleanse us from all sin through the blood, the laver symbolizes the daily washing in the Word of God as the Word of God convicts us, we repent, conform to the Word of God and are changed more into God’s image and likeness which was in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. Ephesians 5:26,27 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. This sea of glass as crystal is the Word of God being represented all around the throne as far as the eye can see. We are standing on the Word a glorious Church, without spot or wrinkle, holy and without blemish. Like fine crystal each of us is unique person chisled and faceted to be a living crystal stone in God’s temple. 1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Subject: 4 Beasts (4 Living Ones) Throne room scene the raptured Church will see in heaven as told by John Revelation Chapter 4 Daniel called Father the Ancient of Days wearing white raiment and hair as pure wool in Dan 7:9 John saw just the glory of the Father as a precious jasper and Sardine stone. Round about was a rainbow as like an Emerald First the trumpet call to the Church. Who are these 4 living ones? Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. Translators have used the unfortunate word of ‘beasts’ because of their appearance. The greek word is ‘zoa’ where we get the word ‘zoology’ meaning the study of living creatures. The correct rendering and is used by most translations is ‘living ones’. Who are these 4 living ones? First of all, these are clearly Christians (Rev 5:8,9). Remember, John is seeing us completely resurrected in our glorified andimmortal bodies and standing or sitting on the sea of glass like crystal. We are the finished product of the work of God. Like the 24 elders these 4 living ones are redeemed by the blood of the lamb and are priests and kings with Christ and will reign with Him on the earth. Rev 5:8,9 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of
odours, which are the prayers of saints odours, which are the prayers of saints. Just like the number 24 as in 24 elders was a divine number so is the number 4 here in Rev 4:6. These saints are a group of saints that have administrative authority. After Jesus is given the 7 sealed title deed to the earth and sea by the Father sitting on the throne in Rev 5, begins to open the seals in Rev 6. Opening the first 4 seals Jesus gives orders to the 4 living ones who in turn give orders to the 4 horsemen. The 4 horsemen are a another group of saints who execute the orders. The reason why there is 4 is because the work they do affects the earth (see reference chart for divine numbers).
Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. Revelation 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. Prophet Ezekiel saw a similar vision of the throne of God in Ezekiel 1 and 4 living ones close to being described in Rev 4:6. The difference is Ezekiel’s vision represents the Angelic host. The he saw wheels within wheels that staggered him because of their great height reaching from earth to heaven. Wheels within wheels represents organization, one group of angels answering to another group but all doing the will of Him that sat on the throne. Ezekiel 1:15-22 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces. 16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their
appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went. 18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four. 19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. 20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
4 living ones full of eyes before and behind. Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. 4 living ones full of eyes before and behind. Eyes represent the 7 Spirits of God active in the 4 living ones. It is the fullness of the Holy Spirit by which we will know in our immortal bodies what to do and say. When John saw Jesus in Rev 5:6 he described Him as a slain lamb standing having 7 eyes and 7 horns. We will get into the full interpretation in our Rev 5 study but let us focus on 7 eyes. Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. We are told clearly the 7 eyes are the 7 Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. First we have the divine number of 7 which means completeness (see reference chart). We already identified the 7 Spirits of God in understanding the lamps before the Throne (see reference chart).
Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. The eyes then is the 7 Spirits of God that is in Christ operating in the lives of the resurrected saints giving them the wisdom, knowledge or counsel they need to do the job Jesus has commissioned them to do. Revelation 4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. In Rev 5:6 we saw that John described Jesus as a lamb and Rev 5:5 as a lion of Judah. Now we know that Jesus does not look physically like a lamb or lion but this denotes the personal attributes that He exemplifies. He was the sacrificial lamb but when He comes back He comes back to defeat His enemies He will come in Kingly strength and power as a lion. The 4 Living ones differ from the 24 elders in that they lead in worship and praise. The number 4 means they also do activity that connects with the earth (in Rev 6 - Christ, 4 Living Ones, and the 4 Horsemen working together greatly affecting what goes on in the earth). The 4 living ones show the 4 natures of Christ that are taught in the 4 gospels. The Lion - Kingly nature; The Ox - the servant nature; Man - earthly nature; Eagle - heavenly nature. At the rapture we shall be changed and the Bible says when we see Christ we shall be like Him (1 John 3:2, Phil 3:21).
Living One Nature Gospel Attribute Revelation 4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. Jesus had other attributes besides the lion seen in these 4 living ones. Living One Nature Gospel Attribute like a lion Kingly nature Matthew strength like a calf Servant nature Mark service with man’s face Human nature Luke Perfect human (Son of man) like a flying eagle Heavenly nature John Perfect divine (Son of God) So far, concerning these 4 living Creatures we determined from Rev 5:8 they are Christians purchased by the blood of Christ from every tongue, kindred, tribe and nation and are Kings and Priests to God and will reign on the earth when Christ returns. The reason there are four is because what they do affects the earth (see reference chart). We will see this in Rev 6 when Christ opens up the first 4 seals. We are told in Rev 4:6 these 4 living ones had eyes all over them. We studied that these eyes representing the 7 fold offices of the Holy Spirit. All these living creatures are Christians filled and anointed with the fullness of the Spirit. Lastly, we are told they had the face of a lion, calf, man, eagle. We discussed these as attributes of Christs nature as taught us in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John (chart above). Therefore it is no surprise that as
resurrected perfected Christians body, soul, and Spirit that we would manifest the same attributes the Christ possesses. As Kings and joint heirs with Christ we have his Lion nature and have strength to rule and reign with Him forever. As Priests we are servants to serve Christ our great High Priest and to mediate and serve those God puts in our way. We share in Christ human nature because we are now bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh having being fashioned unto His own glorious body (Phil 3:21). We share in His divine nature because we have been born of God and been make partakers of His eternal life. As a butterfly from a caterpillar is so different yet one came from the other so in the resurrection we will be so glorious than to what we are now in the flesh. Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. 2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
The 4 living ones each had six wings about him 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. It is clear then, if we are going to be like Him when we see Him(that happens in Rev 5) then we should manifest the same attributes that Christ our savior has. Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. The 4 living ones each had six wings about him Wings clearly denote the ability to travel quickly from one place to another. An expression we sometimes hear is ‘Oh, if I only had wings I could just take off and get away’. We often picture Angels with wings because they can fly. Nowhere in scripture when literal angels appear are wings seen. To be honest, wings only work where there is air (eg. Birds flying). However, Angels have celestial bodies that can
Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. travel anywhere to earth from God’s throne and quickly. When Daniel fasted 21 days and began to pray, before he could finish God dispatch Gabriel from His throne and Gabriel was caused to fly quickly. Daniel 9:21-23 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. 23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. Wings denote then the ability to fly quickly, that is, go
From one location to another in a moment of time From one location to another in a moment of time. Some say at the speed of thought. Time and matter are not an hindrance for in Christ we in a dimension of eternal life which is outside of time and space. Don’t get me wrong. Time and space exist but we will have the ability to step into and out of the Spirit world at will in our resurrected new Spirit bodies. Jesus showed us this in His resurrection. In John 20:26 it says the doors were closed to the upper room and Jesus suddenly appeared. He told them not to be afraid for he was not a spirit only but had spiritual bone and flesh. No mention of blood because the resurrected body has life from the Holy Spirit. Jesus at will could step in and out of the Spirit world and so can we. John 20:26-25 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus ascended (flew) slowly and visibly when He ascended up to heaven Jesus ascended (flew) slowly and visibly when He ascended up to heaven. Jesus could have flew all over the place but Jesus is not an entertainer to draw attention to Himself. Yet, He ascended into heaven and will come back in like manner and the saints in their glorified bodies will travel with Him for the last and great battle of Armadeggon where Satan, Antichrist, false prophet and his armies are defeated (Kingdom). Acts 1:9-11 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew,
, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of Go. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. With the Christians having resurrected bodies after the rapture at can fly in and out of the Spirit, materialize and dematerialize at will, we could use this to our advantage during the 3 ½ year Christian Tribulation period. We are not disappointed for we will be preaching the Gospel over the earth to all nations, tongues, kindreds, families tribes when God opens up the first seal. Jesus gave the commission to the Church to preach the Gospel and not the Angels. They are ministering Spirits to help us (Heb 1:14). In Revelation, as I said earlier, the word Angel means office of messenger. We read of the Saints preaching the Gospel, prophesying, warning as they fly over the earth during the trib period in Rev 14:6.7 Revelation 14:7-19 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Each of the living ones had 6 wings. Why? 8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, Each of the living ones had 6 wings. Why? The answer is very simple. The number 6 is the number of man (see reference chart). This is to confirm these 4 living creatures are saints not angels as many teach. Angels are not redeemed and are not called to be Priests and Kings as these 4 living ones are and the 24 elders. Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. This is easy to interpret as we already interpreted the eyes in body of the 4 living ones as the fullness of the Holy Spirit (7 Spirits of God Rev 4:6). Eyes in the wings is simply saying our direction of motion will be directed by the Holy Spirit. We will know where we have to be and when.
Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And they (4 living ones) rest not day and night. They do not have to rest for they have glorified resurrected bodies. Bible says that God neither sleeps or slumbers (Psalm 121:4) and now neither will the Saints. God does rest as He did on 7th day of creation but this praise and worship is ongoing (24/7) Psalms 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Saying Holy, Holy, Holy. One for the Father, one for the Son, one for the Holy Ghost (God in 3 persons – blessed Trinity - for Trinity scriptures click here). Though there are three persons in the Trinity it is clear who in particular their praise and worship is directed to; The Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. This would be the Lord Jesus Christ who said these exact words of Himself in Rev 1:8 Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 4:9-11 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, 10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Who is leading the worship – the 4 living ones. When the 4 living ones began to worship Him that sat on the Throne, the Father – the Ancient of Days, the twenty four elders fell down before Him (prostrating oneself before the Lord is a sign of complete surrender to the Father’s will and a humbling act of worship for such a great salvation and honor). 24 elders cast their crowns before their throne showing the Father they quickly recognize that whatever crown they had was first of all due to Him, and second, to completely surrender whatever position they are given to surrender that position to the Father’s will not their will for they have the nature of Christ.
The 24 elders are saying that the Lord Jesus is worthy to receive honor and power. They know that Jesus created all things, and that it was done for His pleasure, that it is for His divine purpose that everything was created. This must be contrasted to what is going down on earth just before the rapture and especially been taught in the Laodicea Church period – the Apostate Church existing at the time of the rapture (see reference chart).
Review The rapture has taken place and the angels of God oversee the grand reunion in the air and escorting them to their positions around the throne. As far as the eye can see they are supported by a sea of glass as clear as crystal (the pure Word of God). Saints are organized into groups. Two groups introduced are the 4 living ones (described in their resurrected bodies and attributes and lead in worship) and 24 elders who follow wearing white raiment (righteousness) and wearing crowns of Gold (overcomer crowns like a wreath not kingly (diadem) crowns yet).
Michael and his angels cast Satan and his angels down to the earth and then the Father (Ancient of Days (Dan 7:9) sat down on the throne. From His throne emanates His glory as precious stones of Jasper and Sardine. Daniel describes the same scene and His hair as pure wool and garment as white as snow (Daniel 7:9). The manifest presence is one of a judicial judge using finest of judgment, righteousness, clear thinking as represented by the precious stones. The task at hand will be to first introduce the Lord Jesus Christ as our Kinsman Redeemer. Give Him the title deed (7 sealed book of Rev 5) to the earth and sea. This gives Jesus the legal power and authority to evict Satan and his angels from the earth and
judge the works of sin by the nations judge the works of sin by the nations. But before this the overriding concern will be for the Church left behind and great 3 ½ year tribulation period they face and what can saints do to help. The rainbow around the throne as emerald is a promise of God not to destroy all life. Green emerald to save the environment from the ravages of what is to follow. The 7 lamps manifested by the Holy Spirit representing the 7 offices He has as listed in Isaiah 11:2. There is continual worship led the group of saints represent by the 4 living ones and the saints represented by 24 elders follow suit falling down before the throne and casting
their crowns in complete surrender to the Father’s will their crowns in complete surrender to the Father’s will. After a time of worship the angels will announce the time has come to introduce their Lord and Saviour who made all this possible – the Lord Jesus Christ. This happens in next chapter – Rev 5.

Revelation Chapter 5 In Rev 4 the rapture took place. Joyful reunion of saints from all nations and time periods. Saints received glorified immortal bodies and divided into different groups-4 living ones led the praise and worship; 24 elders followed standing or sitting on crystal sea of glass reflecting finished work of the Word of God in their body, soul, spirit. The angels were there to answer any questions and direct. Michael and his angels cast Satan and his angels down to earth. Then the Father sat down as a Judicial judge with glory radiating as a precious stone of crystal clear Jasper and blood red Sardine. From His throne could be seen and heard lightening, thunder, voices and rainbow as of an emerald showed grace not to destroy all flesh and save the environment. A time of grace mixed with wrath will follow during the 3 ½ year Christian tribulation period of judgment followed by 7 years of pure wrath known as the Day of the Lord. But, before all these things the Father presents our Kinsman Redeemer – Lord Jesus Christ. He alone is worthy to take the 7 sealed title deed to the earth and sea and evict the current rulers: Satan and his angels. This is no easy task for total redemption requires total judgment, purging and cleansing. Review
Revelation 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. John can now see the Father (Ancient of Days) and in His right hand is a book written within and on the backside, and it is sealed with 7 seals. What is the book written within and on the backside and sealed with 7 seals in the Father’s right hand? Is there any scriptures that can give us understanding what is going on here with this 7 sealed book?. This is no ordinary book. It is the ‘title deed’ to the earth and the sea. God (the Father) is the landlord. He owns the earth and the
Revelation 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. sea. However, God does things legally and openly before the whole court of heaven – the Angels and Saints. Let us read Eph 1:12-14 Ephesians 1:12-14 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
What is the purchased possession and the day of edemption?. When you were saved God gave you the Holy Spirit to be in you which was an earnest (down payment) until redemption of the purchase possession. Eph 4:30 says do not grieve the Holy Spirit, whereby you are sealed until the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. We understand then from Eph 1:12-14 and Eph 4:30 that on the day of redemption we are promised the purchased possession. What is the purchased possession and the day of edemption?. The answer is in Romans 8:22,23.
Romans 8:22,23 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. We had the Holy Spirit in us when we got saved but we still lived in our fallen Adamic mortal bodies as descendents of Adam. But that all changed at the rapture for the believers that were saved and had the Holy Spirit of promise within them. The rapture was their day of redemption of the body when we received our glorified and immortal body. The key word I want you to grasp is that when we received the possession of our glorified and immortal bodies it was a purchased possession. This means it was a possession that already existed but at some time had to be paid for before we could possess it. Rom 8:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Lost his soul Man lost his body Man lost the earth Well we know that the possession was immortal life so when did man lose that. The answer goes back to the fall of Adam and Eve and their forfeiture to immortal life and inheritance of the earth and sea to Satan. To understand the full picture of redemption we have to understand what was lost. When Adam and Eve sinned: Lost his soul Genesis 2:17 for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Man lost his body Gen 3:19 dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Man lost the earth Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. Notice Luke 4:6 Satan said all the kingdoms of the earth were delivered to him. The question is ‘by who?’. He is talking to Jesus so it is not Him – the answer is Adam the original tenant God the landlord gave dominion of the earth and sea to in the garden of Eden after they were created.
Lost his soul Man lost his body Man lost the earth Genesis 2:17 for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. If the result of sin is threefold then the plan of Redemption must be threefold. We know that God already had a plan to bring about this threefold redemption but it would cost the Father the death of His Son in a most vicious, malevolent, violent, bruising, crushing way. God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit already got together and knew what be the redemptive price necessary should Adam and Eve fall. So in the day Adam and Eve fell God knew not only were they going to spiritually die and become a lost soul, also forfeit immortal life for the body by losing access to the tree of life, but pass their earthly dominion and inheritance over
the earth and sea to Satan the earth and sea to Satan. However, God had a plan of salvation and redemption and speaks to Satan these choice words in Gen 3:15 Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. ‘Enmity’ is ‘bitterness’ or ‘at odds with’, or ‘against’. God is talking directly to Satan who has indwelt the serpent to disguise himself to Eve. God is saying that as Satan used the woman to get to Adam so he would fall, God will use a woman’s seed to get Satan to fall. A woman does not produce seed but the man. There is only one woman in the Bible that produced seed within herself without a man. Isaiah 7:14 prophesized it and Matthew 1:18 records it’s fulfillment. Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. We see then that on the day Adam and Eve fell, God was already at work for our threefold redemption but it was a purchased redemption and a price had to be paid. God also knew that and told Satan in Gen 3:15. Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. ‘It’ – the seed of the woman will bruise the head of Satan. Head would represent ‘Authority’. We often use the expression ‘he is the head over it’ meaning the top person or top dog. The seed of the woman would bruise Satan’s authority and ruler ship over his kingdom. This happened when Christ rose from the dead having the keys of hell and death and the legal right to destroy Satan’s kingdom. Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. ‘and thou shalt bruise his heel’. In the battle of bruising Satan’s head (Satan’s kingdom authority), Satan would bruise Christ’s heel. Did Christ the seed of Mary have his heel bruised. Of course – when he was nailed to the cross; both his hands and feet were bruised. The heel of the foot would be terribly bruised not only from the nails and wood but the weight of Christ’s body. David wrote in Psalm 22:16 of Christ’s crucifixion well before Romans practiced it. Psalms 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. Mark 15:15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
We see that Christ paid the redemption price with His life We see that Christ paid the redemption price with His life. The Bible calls Jesus the second Adam (1 Cor 15:45). What Adam lost through sin Jesus bought back by righteousness. He provides salvation for the lost soul, and redemption for the body of mortality at the rapture in the purchased possession of a body of immortality and incorruption. Adam also forfeited his dominion and inheritance to Satan. Understanding how Jesus restores what Adam foreited will lead us back to Rev 5 our current study. In Lev 25:23-34 and I will only quote a part of it, we are told that the whole land of Israel belongs to God. Each family that had land did not own it forever but every 50 years (call Jubilee) the land would be restored back to it’s original owner or one that could show that he is a kinsman (blood related). In the mean time the land could be sold to someone else. Leviticus 25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. 24 And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land. Simply put; God is the landlord, He owns the land. If the land is sold it can be redeemed in the future. Lev 25:23-34 tells us the various scenarios how this can be done.
If the land was lost or sold or disinherited, any kinsman that could pay the redemptive price could buy back the land. This process was called redemption and the buyer Redeemer. Later, at some point the actual heirs of the land that were disinherited would possess it and take it over and this process is called redemption of the purchased possession. This was all possible for them because of this kinsman redeemer who paid the price of redemption for them. When the kinsman redeemed the property, an instrument of writing was drawn up. On the inside were written the specifications, terms of sale, etc. On the back were the signatures and witnesses. The deed was rolled up and sealed. The sealed book was delivered to the original owner or to the heir. The heir or original owner can at his convenience break the seals, and with the open book as his authority. Take possession of the land by force, if necessary. Such a transaction is recorded in Jeremiah 32:6-15 and Ruth 4:1-12. Lets put this in perspective so we can understand the scenario being played out in Rev 5. God is the landlord, He owns the earth. He gave Adam and Eve the title deed
The earth and sea as legal owners but not forever The earth and sea as legal owners but not forever. Jesus was always the heir of all things by divine right being the only begotten Son of God. Though all creation was made by Him (Jesus) He was appointed to be heir of all things when the Father would give the Son a Kingdom at an appointed time. That Kingdom would start on planet earth and then increase forever. In that Kingdom the nation of Israel has a special role, also the Gentile nations and the Church will be joint heirs with Christ ruling over the Kingdom as Priests and Kings forever. The Church Age has been a time of preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and one must be saved to enter the Kingdom. However, the Kingdom is in heaven and in the saved believers here on earth but the earth and sea are still in the hands of Satan and his angels. This happened when Adam sold out to Satan and delivered the kingdoms of this world into his hand. In the hierarchy of creation, fallen angels are higher than fallen man. Jesus did not question Satan’s claims when Satan tempted him. Satan said he could hand over the kingdoms of this world to Jesus if he would bow down to him just like Adam delivered the kingdom to him. We read in Luke 4:5,6
Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. When Jesus was born of the virgin Mary he was born of the human race and yet without sin because God was His Father and the impure blood line of Adam did not taint him with the original sin that passed to all men. Yet He was our kinsman by nature and tempted in every way we are and yet He did not sin. What was the price of redemption to buy back the earth to Adams race – a sinless life to the death. Adam was tested by Satan and failed whereas Jesus was tested by Satan and did not fail. When Jesus paid the full payment not only for our sins but for the redemption of the earth, He is now our kinsman redeemer that can take the earth back from Satan any time that he wants to. When Jesus ascended up to heaven after His resurrection, the title deed to the earth was drawn up and left with the Father the landlord of the earth. At any time Jesus wants to do the redemption of the purchased possession (earth and sea in this case) all He has to do his take the sealed
book (title deed), break its seals, and then with the open book and the legal authority can take over the kingdoms of this earth by force if necessary for Jesus is the legal heir – our Kinsman Redeemer. In summary we can complete our chart Lost his soul Genesis 2:17 for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Redemption at salvation Man lost his body Gen 3:19 dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Redemption at the rapture Man lost the earth Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. Revelation 5:1,2 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? With everybody in place, the Father, Holy Spirit (7 lamps), 24 elders ,4 living ones, all the angels, and rapturous praise and worship has paused as a mighty angel is about to make a loud proclamation. Ever since the moment of the rapture and building like a great crescendo within every Saints heart, the anticipation since they were saved back on earth of the greatest moment of these rapturous events – the appearance of their might Savior and lord – Jesus Christ. He is the Captain of their salvation; Chief of the army of the Lord; most of all their Kinsman Redeemer. But the chief lover of their souls has not be seen yet but all attention is now on Him that sits on the throne and the words of the mighty angel.
Revelation 5:1,2 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? John saw a strong angel make a proclamation with a loud voice. That angels excel in strength is an understatement Psalms 103:19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. 20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. One angel rolled the stone away from Christ’s tomb that took several Romans to put it there. One angel smote 185,000 Assyrian soldiers.
Revelation 5:1,2 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? Matthew 27:66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. Matthew 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 2 Kings 19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
Revelation 5:1,2 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? In the awesome presence of the Father (Ancient of Days), and the intense wonder, reverential love and holy fear all the Saints have John saw a strong angel make a proclamation with a loud voice. asking, “Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?”. Everyone checked their own Spirit and instantly knew it was not them. Then everyone began to look across the sea of glass as crystal and as far as the eye could see, myriads and myriads of Saints from every nation, tongue, tribe, kindred, family
Revelation 5:1,2 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? were all looking around but no came forward to answer the call. Many Saints who studied Revelation knew what was going on and others completely mystified. Word got around pretty quick this book in the hand of the Father must be the title deed to the earth. Seconds, maybe minutes, passed by and no came forward. If no one came forward Satan would retain his control of the earth and Redemptions plan would be halted and the Kingdom of God would not be set up on earth.
Revelation 5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. The angels voice reverberated not only through heaven but in the earth, and under the earth (Hades – departed spirits of the dead) and no one was able to open the book, not even to come forward to look upon it. Now the mood was changing to a somber reality for many that maybe a major disappointment is at hand. Where is Jesus our Kinsman Redeemer, oh where is He.
Revelation 5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. We read that John who is beholding this whole Redemptive process wept much because no man was found worthy to open and read the book let alone look upon it. John represents the raptured believer and many like John will be weeping. All of their purpose of being saved and receiving immortal bodies is to reign with Christ as Priests and Kings in His Kingdom forever. Besides the Cross and resurrection this is the most pivotal moment for the Saints around the throne.
Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. As John wept overwhelmed with anxiety and emotion, one of the 24 elders noticed someone coming forward. Just as John the Baptist introduced Jesus at His first coming as the Lamb of God, this elder, perhaps himself speaking for tribe of Judah, tells John and therefore the whole Church – behold the lion of the tribe of Juda, the root of David. By His coming forth signifying that He has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the 7 seals thereof.

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Just as Jesus appeared suddenly appeared in the midst of His disciples after His resurrection in the upper room though the doors were locked (John 30:26), Jesus now appears in the midst of the throne, 4 living ones, 24 elders. Jesus might have been there all the time but did not visibly appear till the Father’s appointed time. John 20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

Stood a lamb as it had been slain When John looked to see the Lion of Judah, he descibes in his words what he saw. Jesus standing with a lamb like nature and bearing all the scars of the sufferings (whippings, beatings, crown of thorns, crucifixion, He endured to be our Kinsman redeemer and pay the redemptive price for our 3 fold redemption. Millions if not billions of Saints will behold the one slain for them who they have not seen. The sacrificial lamb. The one who fulfills all the Old Testament sin offerings. The depth of this moment cannot be put into words as we behold the Lamb. Lost his soul Genesis 2:17 for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Redemption at salvation Man lost his body Gen 3:19 dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Redemption at the rapture Man lost the earth 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. Redemption when our Kinsman Redeemer (Rev 5), takes the title deed, opens the 7 seals
Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Again, John is describing in earthly words what he is seen in heaven. John was not only overwhelmed by the presence of the lamb and His monumental sacrifice seen in his wounds, but also saw Jesus as having all power and authority (7 horns) and the fullness of the Holy Spirit (7 Spirits of God – 7 eyes). We are not going to see a literal slain lamb standing with 7 eyes and 7 horns but we are going to see Jesus just as John is describing in words that have meaning throughout the whole Bible. 7 horns The number 7 represents completeness – the complete picture or story (see reference chart). Horn represents power or strength or dominion. Here are a few passages 1 Samuel 2:1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Psalms 75:10 All the horns of the wcked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. Luke 1:69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; When you put 7 and horn together you get all power or strength. Jesus confirmed this truth after His resurrection to His disciples in Matt 28:18 Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 7 eyes Jesus standing having 7 eyes which we are clearly told in the save verse are the 7 spirits of God sent forth into all the world. Again we have the number 7 which stands for completeness (see reference chart). These eyes represent the fullness of the Spirit and were portrayed as being within and without on the 4 living ones and in their wings in Rev 4:6. Jesus in His resurrection told the Apostle John to write to Church of Sardis that he has the 7 Spirits of God. Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Isaiah 11:2 clearly lists the 7 Spirits of God that would come and remain upon Jesus immediately after He was baptized by John the Baptist. John saw the fullness of the Spirit coming upon Jesus as a dove.
1: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him 2: Spirit of wisdom Mark 1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: Isaiah 11:1,2 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; Jesse was the father of David. Isaiah is saying from the lineage of David would come a branch who will have the seven manifold Spirits of God upon Him. 1: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him 2: Spirit of wisdom 3: Spirit of understanding 4: Spirit of counsel 5: Spirit of might 6: Spirit of might 7: Spirit of might
Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. It is interesting to note that the rapture has taken place and yet these 7 Spirits of God are operating in the earth also. It is true that after the rapture the restrainer (Holy Spirit) will be taking out of the way (2 Thess 2:7), that is, not hold back Satan from his full fury at any one that confesses Christ but the Holy Spirit will still do His 7 fold work in the earth. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: In conclusion then, all the Saints of God around the throne will behold the lamb of God as our Kinsman Redeemer, and yet in Him we feel the full authority of strength ,power, wisdom, knowledge, counsel, might, to come a take the book out of the Father’s (Ancient of Days) right hand

Revelation 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. This is the greatest moment in heaven in regard to the history of the earth. How many creations and re-recreations , judgments, destructions, and new beginnings has the earth gone through. Yet, God knowing all things beforehand, used whatever Satan meant for evil God and turned it around to do good. All the elements in the earth are a long result of earth’s history to provide the needs of man. Now the final recreation is at hand. This is the last time God is going to create a new heaven and earth and not judge it every again. The old heaven and earth, which is now, must be judged for its sins, Satan and his angels forcefully evicted, and the works of man that are evil destroyed. God is going to make a new heaven and a new earth from the old heaven and earth. God is going to make all things new not all new things. Every mountain shall be made low and every valley exalted. The water canopy of Gen 3:8 restored. This will involve tremendous heat to take the extra water from Noah’s flood and evaporate it back up to sky to form a
Revelation 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. protective water canopy. This will result in a more even greenhouse effect on earth’s climate as it was before the flood. This will involve great earthquakes and the earth’s axis shifting as the tremendous heat of the seal judgments applied to the polar caps melts it and shifts it’s weight around. Most of the scriptures that tell of these events and their effects on the earth will be fulfilled in the Day of the Lord (click for review).
Revelation 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. When Jesus took possession of the 7 sealed book, showing that He alone has the right to the title deed of the earth and sea, but also He will be the chief executioner of all the judgments written therein to accomplish full and complete redemption of the purchased possession. The result of taking the book affects all of creation. Worship, praise, instruments of praise, prayers as they fell down prostrate in complete abandonment and devotion to the Lamb of God – our Kinsman Redeemer.
Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. Harps Again John uses harps to represent instruments of music. The harp was most notable instrument in his day especially with the psalms of David. We know David in Psalm 150 lists and encourages everyone that has breathe praise the Lord and lists many instruments. Psalms 150:1-6 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. Remember John is seeing events in heaven and putting them into his own words. 24 Elders as we studied earlier represented a group of redeemed Saints from every tongue, tribe, kindred, family. Another group were the 4 living ones who led the worship (Rev 4:9). Each one having a harp simply is representative of instruments God provided for the 24 Elder group and the 4 Living ones group. Again, these instruments are instruments God provides and remains to be seen of what sort they are but they will be pleasing to God. First, if they were not instruments Rev 14:2 would not make sense Revelation 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: That they are harps God provided is clearly seen in Rev 15:2 Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of the saints Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. Golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of the saints Like the harps, the Golden vials (plural) full of odors represents the prayers of the Saints from every tongue, nation, tribe, family the 24 elders group and 4 living ones group represented. First, a vial is a container. The only verse in the Old Testament uses the word vial is 1 Samuel 10:1 1 Samuel 10:1 Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance? This was a container of anointing oil symbolizing the Holy Spirit as when Samuel used the oil to anoint David the next King of Israel when he yet was a young lad. Here in Rev 5:8 we have a golden vials of incense giving different odors representing the different needs. We read in Psalm 141:2 Psalms 141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. We read in Rev 8:3,4 Revelation 8:3,4 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. Notice not only the incense connected with prayers of the Saints but censor and the altar made out of Gold. Just like divine numbers in Bible have a meaning (see reference chart) metals often do also. Gold for God’s divine nature or work, silver for redemption, brass for judgment. An excellent study where metals and numbers or used divinely is the study of the tabernacle in the wilderness. Every piece had divine meaning and God gave clear instructions on how each piece was to be made and its exact measurements.
Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. These golden vials are the prayers of the saints that have divine value to them. These prayers are heard by God because they are based on the redemptive work of the cross. God accepted Abel’s sacrifice and rejected Cain’s because God saw redemptive value in Abel’s because of the blood sacrifice which pointed to His Son’s atoning work at Calvary.
Revelation 5:9,10 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. The Saints are pictured singing a new song. Some of the song is not new in that many Christians have sung about being redeemed many years in their earthly lifetime. What is new that it is being sung in heaven, in their new immortal bodies, around the throne witnessing seeing their Savior for the first time face to face. Seeing Him as their Kinsman Redeemer and the one to make them Kings and Priests and return to earth to reign with Him in His Kingdom.
Revelation 5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 10,000 X 10,000=1,000,000,000 (1 billion ) + thousands of thousands Angels Angels Notice the angels are not singing the song of the redeemed but they are voicing praise to God for this tremendous occasion they have waited so long for. The number of angels around the 24 elders, 4 living ones, throne could easily be several Billion with the numbers given in Rev 5:11 Angels Angels Compare this scene with Daniel’s in Daniel 7:9:10
Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. These are the angels that surround the throne and 24 elders and the 4 living ones. Notice they do say anthing about themselves being redeemed or being Kings and Priests to God. But with loud voices saying that the Lamb that was slain is worthy to receive power, riches, and wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing. How long have these angels waited for this moment. They were there from before the creation (see Genesis 1:1). They were there for all the creations and recreations of this earth. They were there when Lucifer as a good archangel had a pre-Adam kingdom on earth till he became Satan causing 1/3 of the angels to join him. Then God cast them out of first heaven and the earth became void and darkness was all that it knew (Gen 1:2). Then God recreated the heaven and earth in 6 days and created Adam and Eve to multiply and be fruitful and obey His one command – not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They watch as Satan deceived and used Eve to get to Adam and Satan was successful and the title deed of the earth
was sold to Satan and his angels was sold to Satan and his angels. The angels did not know the plan of redemption that the Father, Son, Holy Ghost worked out before creation even existed (see pre-creation). God knowing all things knew that Lucifer would become Satan, that Adam and Eve would fall, yet God so loved the world that He was going to sacrifice His Son to be the Kinsman Redeemer of Adam’s race. God did not waste time and on the day that Adam and Eve fell God told Satan He was going to now use the seed of the woman to get to Him (Gen 3:15 – see Adam and Eve)) Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Then the angels watched and were messengers also in the process as God revealed more and more how God was going to accomplish His redemption plan. God chose Abraham to bring forth the nation of Israel. God narrowed the seed of the woman to be from the tribe of Judah, and the lineage of David. The angels not only announced the birth of Christ but Watched in amazement that the same one that created them
Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. came down to earth through the seed of the woman and Then fasted 40 days, was rejected, beaten, crushed, bruised, whipped, crucified and the all time without sin. The angels were there when Jesus rose from the dead. They were there when He ascended into heaven. They were there to see that the rapture of Christ’s bride (the Church) was protected as the saints rose from their graves, and living were all caught up to Gods throne in immortal bodies. The angels then cast down from the second heaven Satan and his angels to the earth, and now they stand one with the 24 elders, 4 living ones, to stand 100% behind the Kinsman redeemer to finish the job of bringing about the long awaited eternal Kingdom of God on earth. And now, the one who is worthy of honor, glory, praise, blessings, riches has taken the title deed from the Father’s right hand to open its seals and then use whatever force necessary to make the kingdoms of this world the kingdoms of Christ and the saints which are joint heirs. No wonder they talked in a loud voice.
Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. John is not talking about the animal kingdom. John does not say he sees every creature but heard them saying, Blessing, honour, and glory, and power, be unto the Father sitting on the throne to Jesus – the lamb of God. Every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea. Jesus was handed the title deed to the Kingdom of God. When Jesus completes opening the 7 seals He will return to the earth with His saints. Rev 20 tells us Christ will rule and reign for a 1000 years while Satan and his angels are bound. During those 1000 year Jesus reconstructing the heaven and earth. At the end of the 1000 yrs Satan is let loose for a very short time. Those that rebel will be destroyed by fire. Then there will be the great white throne judgment in which all those that did not take part in the first resurrection will be judged. Those that are not found in the book of life will be cast into hell. Then Jesus will offer up the perfected Kingdom
Finished work (1 Cor 15:24). To confirm the completed work and a new heaven and a new earth, The Father and the New Jerusalem come down to earth (Rev 21) fulfilling Jesus prayer – Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, for thine is the Kingdom, power, glory forever and ever AMEN (Matt 6:10-13). Revelation 20:1-15 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 21:1-8 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. The taking of the title deed to set up the Kingdom of God is an awesome responsibility that only God’s Son can do. As the Son always seeks to please the Father, it will be a 1000 years before the Kingdom is perfected and offered back to the Father a perfect work. Then what John heard will be fulfilled. Every creature whether in heaven or in hell, saved or lost will acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord (Phil 2:6-11, Romans 14:11).
Philippians 2:6-11 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Revelation 5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen Revelation 5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. Like John, the 4 living ones heard the day every creature will acknowledge Jesus is Lord, and they say AMEN (so be it). When they say AMEN the 24 elders again fall down and worship Him that lives forever and ever. Isaiah 9:6,7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. Click on image for more scriptures

From our Revelation chart above John covers events connected with the rapture, tribulation period, Day of the Lord from Rev 4 -11 (heavens activity where the raptured Saints) and then Rev 12-19 (earths activity of same events)). Events connected with the rapture from heavens point of view are covered in Rev 4,5 (see chart above). In Rev 4 we met the raptured Church (24 elders, 4 living ones), Father (Ancient of Days) sitting on His throne, sea of glass like crystal reflecting the work of the pure Word of God. The Holy Spirit is present in the 7 lamp stands representing the 7 Spirits of God. In Rev 5, after John wept much, Christ the Loin/Lamb takes the 7 sealed titled deed to the earth and sea. He alone is worthy to be our Kinsman Redeemer. The 4 living ones, 24 elders, billions of angels, every creature says Jesus is Lord. In Rev 12, our next study, will be earth’s viewpoint of events connected with the rapture (see chart above) to complete rapture study. For review select chapter 4 5
Revelation 12 The main players in Rev 12 are: Revelation 12:1-9 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. The main players in Rev 12 are:
Revelation Chapter 12 Rev 12 is one of the most controversial and challenged chapters in Revelation. Basically, there are three main views. One; the sun clothed woman is Israel and the man child she gives birth to is Jesus Christ. Second; the woman is Mary and her child is Christ. The first two are the wrong views and I will give good reasons why as we study Rev 12:1-7. The third view, the correct view, is the sun clothed woman represents the Church. The Church is a large body of people that profess to be Christian and saved. This view being true then it would be logical to say the child within her womb represents a smaller amount of people. Since the man child gets caught up to God’s throne, the man child represents the truly saved in the Church. The true Church has always been hidden within the professing Church. Jesus speaking of the Church Age said let the wheat grow among the tares, the good fish among the bad, the wise virgins
among the foolish. Then at the end of the age they will be separated (see study of Jesus parables). This separation (see rapture) is both a deliverance for the Church from a time of trouble such as never was (Dan 12:1) and a judgment for the Church. 1 Peter 4:17 tells us the judgment of God will begin with the Church. 1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? Jesus, speaking of the unsaved dead that rejected salvation, tells us the tares and bad fish were gathered into bundles and thrown into the fire. This will happen at the rapture but the separation is in Hades (below the earth). Rest of the dead not in the first resurrection will be judged at the great white throne final judgment (Rev 20:5,11). Concerning the living unsaved that were part of the professing Church (tares, bad fish, foolish virgins) they do not go up to meet the Lord in the rapture and not delivered from the time of
trouble such as never was (Dan 12:1) trouble such as never was (Dan 12:1). They enter the great 3 ½ year Christian Tribulation period (see chart above). This is a time of grace mixed with wrath. Many during this trib period accept Christ and refuse the mark of the Beast and the false prophet but face certain death. However, this time will also be a time of the greatest out pouring of the Holy Spirit, with great signs in the heavens, on the earth blood, fire and great pillars of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood ending the Church age. Then follows the 7 year terrible Day of the Lord a period of pure judgment and no record of anyone being saved. Revelation says they repented not (Rev 9:20, Rev 16:9,11). The Apostle Peter on the day of Pentecost when God poured out His Spirit on the 120 Jews in the upper room (Acts 2), stood up and said this outpouring will be on all flesh (Jews and Gentiles) in the last days. Peter then goes on to list the last signs of the Church Age before the terrible Day of the Lord begins. Acts 2:14-21 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the
Acts 2:14-21 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Notice vs 20 Peter puts the last sign - sun turning into darkness and moon into blood before the terrible Day of the Lord. So does Revelation 6: The great signs Peter speaks of in the heavens, blood, fire and pillars of smoke on earth, sun dark and moon blood red are a result of the 6 seals of Revelation being opened during the 3 ½ year Christian tribulation period. Let us read the 6th seal for the 7th seal is the terrible Day of the Lord. Revelation 6:12-17 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from
the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Both Peter and John the author of Revelation agree perfectly. Notice Rev 6:12 the sun becoming dark and moon as blood. Then notice Rev 6:15-17 the kings of the earth (world leaders), and great men (men of importance and well known), rich men, chief captains, mighty men, every bondman (slave), every free man hid themselves in dens and rocks of mountains, saying to the mountains fall on us. It does not say they repent and yet they know it is the wrath of Father (Ancient of Days that sitteth on the throne (Rev 4,5,6)) and wrath of Jesus Christ (Lamb of God). They also say that the terrible day of the Lord or great day of His wrath is come, and who will live through it. The sixth seal ends the Church Age just like Peter said. The last 3 ½ years of the Church age is the Christian Tribulation period. Then follows the terrible 7 year Day of the Lord.

Interpretation of Rev 12 Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: The woman was a great wonder in heaven. The heaven seen is the first heaven where our sun and moon are. The Church is to be made up of saints who sit in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3) Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: The sun rules the day and gives light. Likewise, the Church is to be of the day and of the light (1 Thess 5:5). 1 Thess 5:5 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: As the moon rules the night so Satan rules the darkness. As the moon is under her feet the Bible says Satan is to be under our feet. Luke 10:18,19 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and
scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you Eph 1:19-23 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the Church, 23 Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.
Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: In the old testament we had the 12 tribes of Israel. In the new testament we have the 12 apostles. After the rapture and resurrection of the dead in Christ (1 thess 4:16) both the old and new testament saints are in view in Rev 4:4 symbolized by 24 elders around the throne. Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
The woman would have 24 stars if this were both the O. T. and N. T The woman would have 24 stars if this were both the O.T. and N.T. saints. 12 is a divine number meaning vine government (see reference chart). In the O.T. 12 tribes of Israel, N.T. 12 Apostles. The sun-clothed woman with the manchild tells the story of separation that will take place between the living Christians and the professing Christians within the Church at the time of the rapture, so only the New Testament living Church is in view here (hence 12 stars). The stars represent saints who are to shine for Jesus in this dark age we live in. A crown of 12 stars then is the new testament Church which is to rule with divine authority (1 Peter 2:9). Dan 12:3 saints as stars and Rev 1:20 Jesus held 7 stars – the 7 ministers He called angels (messengers) of the 7 Churches). 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered: If the sun clothed woman was Mary, the Mother of Jesus, as the Catholics teach then why is she crying and pained to be delivered. Catholics teach Mary was without original sin and free from the curse put upon women in the garden of Eden concerning giving birth in Gen 3:16. Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Many teach the woman is Israel and the Child is Christ Many teach the woman is Israel and the Child is Christ. When we discuss Rev 12:3,4 concerning the dragon with 7 crowned heads and one of them having 10 horns we will show why the Israel/Child teaching is in error. One observation that I can comment on is that those that teach the Israel/child scenario have a symbol (sun clothed woman with the moon under her feet) giving birth to a literal individual which is a contradiction. If the sun clothed woman is symbolically representative of the visible Church – a large body of people, then the child within is symbolically representative of a smaller amount of people the invisible Church – true Church that will come out of the woman. You cannot have it both ways. I will give you several good scriptures to back up why the woman is the professing visible Church and the man child she gives birth is the invisible true Church that will come out of the woman – that is – when she gives birth – the rapture – the separation of the Man child from the visible Church. First scripture is in the O.T. in the book of Micah 5:2-4.
Micah 5:2-4 The birth of Christ; nation of Israel set aside for a time because they rejected Messiah; the Church Age will run it’s course instead; After the Church Age God will deal with Israel once again to accept Christ as Messiah Micah 5:2-4 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. 3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. 4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth. Micah 5:2 is well known as the prophecy quoted to King Herod that (Matt 2) Jesus would be born in Bethlehem as a King whose going forth are from old, from everlasting indicating Jesus was the eternal Son of God. Matthew 2:1-6 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wisemen from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. So, Jesus was born in Bethlehem just as the prophet (Micah) had foretold in Micah 5:2. Jesus began His public ministry saying He was the Christ the promised Messiah. The religious leaders of His day rejected Him and turned Him over to the Romans to be crucified. Jesus rose from the dead just like He said and the scriptures. Since the Jews rejected Him as their Messiah and King, the visible Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Israel was set aside for a time. Micah 5:3 foretold this and told us how long before Christ deals with Israel again to receive Jesus as King and Messiah.
Therefore will he give them up. Who’s them? Micah 5:2-4 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Therefore will he give them up. Who’s them? The answer to this is very simple – the Jews. When the Jews rejected Christ as their Messiah Daniel 9 foretold this in his prophecy of 70 weeks of years. Daniel 9:26 said Messiah would be cut off (die – He was crucified) after 69 weeks (see study of Daniel’s 70 weeks), and between the 69th week and 70th there would be a gap of time. This is because God cast aside his dealings with Israel for a time and offered the gentiles the good news of Christ the Messiah as their savior and entrance into the Kingdom of God. This gap of time between God casting aside Israel until He deals with Israel under the law again is call the church age which we are
presently in (see reference chart) presently in (see reference chart). The Church age was a mystery hidden in the Old Testament but revealed in the N.T. (Romans 11:25,26) Romans 11:25,26 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: Fullness of the Gentiles is not to be confused with the term ‘times of the Gentiles’. Fullness of the Gentiles is the Church Age in which the Gospel is being preached to the whole world. Only after the fullness of the Gentiles is finished – that is – only after that last Gentile soul is saved and added to the Church will the Church Age end and God is dealing with Israel under the law again which is Daniel’s 70th week – the last 7 years before Christ returns.
Therefore will he give them up. Who’s them? This is a clear reference to the Jews who rejected him How long are the Jews to be given up? 'until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth' Who is she that will travail and has brought forth. The answer is clearly found in Rev 12.1-5. She is the sun-clothed woman of Rev 12:1 (the professing Church) who after having travailed in pain gives birth to a manchild (the true
confessing Church – the saved in Christ) who are caught up to God’s throne. God will not be dealing with Israel again to bring them to Christ until the church age runs its course. God is dealing with Israel today as far as bringing them back into their land and returning them back to a covenant relationship with Jehovah first (timeframe 2). After the rapture God deals with them to accept Christ (Daniel's 70th week).
Rev 7:4-8 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there Micah 5:2-4 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. 'the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.' This speaks of the remnant of Jews (144,000) after the rapture who accepted Christ in Israel but were not killed by Antichrist. They are sealed for protection during the Day of the Lord (Rev 7:4-8) and called firstfruits of saved Israel (Rev 14:1-5) and witness for Christ and 7 years later when Christ returns to set up His throne in Jerusalem all Israel will be saved. Rev 7:4-8 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there
were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. 7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. Rev 14:1-5 1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.1 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. Micah 5:4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth. He is the same He of Micah 5:2 – Jesus – the one born in Bethlehem. After the Church age ends and the 144,000 saved Jews sealed they become witnesses to rest of Jews in Israel during the Daniel’s 70 week. Then Christ returns and all Israel saved and the Millennium begins . This is the meaning of Micah 5:4
Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered: Christ returns to earth with saved immortal Saints The two types of Churches Jesus told John in Rev 3 that would dominate before the rapture is the Philadelphia Church and the Laodicea. Philadelphia Church is the Missionary and Spirit filled Church that started in the 1800’s in the great awakening looking forward to the return of Christ. Jesus had nothing to say against this Church. He said that this Church will escape the trial that is coming upon the whole (3 ½ Christian tribulation period and the terrible Day of the Lord. This Church is causing great pain to the woman because of it’s size and it wants to be birthed because it knows the time of the rapture is near (see Luke 21). The Laodicea Church on the other hand is the Apostate Church (great falling away from the faith) Apostle Paul Open door for the Phila- delphia Church Manchild (true Church) raptured to God’s throne Sun clothed woman with Child Rev 12:1,2 Laodicea Church Woman left behind goes into the 3 ½ trib period Rev 12:6
Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered: Christ returns to earth with saved immortal Saints warned of in the last days. This Church compromises with the world, doctrines of Antichrist, and new age. This Church considers itself rich, increased with goods and in need of nothing. Jesus says they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. Because they are neither hot or cold but lukewarm they are spued out of His mouth – that is – left behind at the rapture. Jesus is outside the Church knocking on the door for a salvation response. Rev 12:2 tells us the woman (visible Church) is pained by the manchild (invisible true Church within her) and cries to separate herself itself from the manchild within her who has come to full size due to the explosion of the prophetic Word God unleashed in this last hour and it pained the woman. Open door for the Phila- delphia Church Manchild (true Church) raptured to God’s throne Sun clothed woman with Child Rev 12:1,2 Laodicea Church Woman left behind goes into the 3 ½ trib period Rev 12:6
Revelation 12:1-4 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. In Rev 12:2 the separation (rapture) of the invisible Church (manchild) from the visible Church (sun clothed woman) is ready to place and it does in Rev 12:5. However, in Rev 12:3,4 John sees another great wonder in the same heaven that he saw the woman. He saw a great red dragon, having 7 crowned heads and 10 horns whose tail drew 1/3 of the stars of heaven. The dragon stood before the woman and stood before the woman to devour the manchild as soon as it was born.
Who is the great red dragon? 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Who is the great red dragon? Rev 12:9 answers this for us. Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. The great dragon is the Devil, that old serpent also called Satan. This is the same Satan that possessed the serpent in the garden of Eden to bring about the fall of Adam and Eve our first parents Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Why is the great dragon red? 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Why is the great dragon red? Red is used often in scripture to symbolize warfare. Satan is ready to do battle with whomever gets in his way to prevent a successful delivery of the manchild from the woman. In Rev 6:4 we have a one of 4 horses sent out from heaven. Each had a different color. Notice this one was red and warfare was connected with this color. Later in Rev 12 we will see that it is Michael and his angles that will fight Satan and his angels. Revelation 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Why does the great red dragon have 7 heads and 10 horns? 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Why does the great red dragon have 7 heads and 10 horns? Rev 17:9 gives us the answer. After the successful birth of the manchild in Rev 12:5 we read first in Rev 12:7-9 that Satan and his angels are cast down to the earth by Michael and his angels.
Why does dragon have 7 heads and 10 horns? 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Why does dragon have 7 heads and 10 horns? Now the great red dragon is on the earth and we read in Rev 17:9 the harlot woman (Satan’s Church) is sitting on him obviously going along for the ride for power and control. REV 17:9-10 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. Mountain in scripture is often used to symbolize a kingdom or empire. The 7 mountains are 7 kings confirming the truth the mountains refer to kingdoms. John is told by the angel that 5 kings are already fallen (5 kingdoms or empires have

From scripture we can clearly identify since Israel was a nation the first 5 kingdoms Satan has ruled over. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. If the Roman Empire is the 6th and it clearly is, then what kingdom or empire does scripture say will follow the Roman Empire and be the 7th even if it does not last long. The clue is in the verses we are studying Rev 12:3:4. Rev 12:3 tells us the dragon had not only 7 heads but 10 horns. Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. There is only one place in scripture where we are told who the 10 horns are and that is Book of Daniel. Daniel understood who the 10 horns were in Daniel 7 because God gave him the interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream in Daniel 2 which included 10 toes. The 10 toes/horns are the same meaning. For a full understanding study Daniel 2 first Daniel 7.
From a study of Daniel 2 of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, this image he saw standing having a head of gold, 2 arms of silver, belly of brass, thighs and two legs of iron, feet of iron mixed with clay Daniel interpreted. The head of gold was the Babylonian Empire, two arms of silver, Persian/Medes Empire, brass belly the Grecian Empire, iron thighs, legs, feet of iron mixed with clay different stages of the Roman Empire till Christ returns. In Daniel 7, Daniel has a vision of these same four world empires except God showed them to him as beasts (lion, bear, leopard, beast having 10 horns. (see reference chart of Daniel 2 and Daniel 7). It is clear from Daniel 2 and Daniel 7 that the Roman was never conquered by another empire. Daniel 2 told us the Roman Empire would split into two divisions which we know from history as east and west. Both of these nations continued to divide up and now they are nations. How many nations does not matter. In Daniel 2 these nations that have come out of the Roman Empire land area and that make up most of East and West Europe today are symbolized by the 10 toes of Daniel 2 and 10 horns of Daniel 7. Why the number 10. Then number 10 when used prophetically or symbolically
is used as a round number meaning any number (see reference chart for divine numbers). Many that study prophecy take this number literal and have a real problem because the number of nations change over time. God is simply saying that x amount of nations will exist before Christ returns in the land area that was known as the old Roman Empire area. Ok, so we identified the 10 horns as the nations within East and West Europe whose land area was once part of the old Roman Empire. How does that tie in with dragon in Rev 12:3,4. Because, Daniel 7 tells us that among these nations symbolized by the 10 horns, Antichrist will rise from. He will create empire that will not only include the 10 horns (nations of East and West Europe) but also Iran, Iraq, parts of Russian around the Caspian and Black Sea where theres oil. When Antichrist does this he will have formed the 7th empire matching the 7th head of the dragon.

The answer is a clear yes. That is why it is said he has 7 crowns. He has ruled over 6 Empires (6 crowns) and when Antichrist forms his empire then that will be wearing the 7th crown and includes the 10 horns just as Rev 12:3 says.

This is furthest from the truth. The chart below shows 3 distinct timeframes before the rapture that have an enormous amount of prophecy connected with each timeframe. One can click on any timeframe number for a study of all prophetic scriptures to be fulfilled. Also one can click on pre-rapture reign of Antichrist (man –of-deception 2 Thess 2:9-12) or the post-rapture Antichrist (when revealed as man-of-sin: son-of-perdition 2 Thess 2:1-8 ). One of the clearest pictures of the pre-rapture rise of Antichrist is Daniel 7:8-11. Daniel 7:8 records on earht the rise of Antichrist and the forming of his empire. Daniel then records events in heaven where there is a whole lot of activity. Daniel 7:9,10 describe events connected with the rapture and God’s throne where the Father (Ancient of Days) sat (see study of Rev 4). Rev 7:11 then picks up where Daniel left of in Daniel 7:8 events happening back on earth and records the destruction of Antichrist’s kingdom whom he calls the beast (study of Daniel 7:8-11 click here).

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. Rapture Rev 4,5 – Heaven’s view of the rapture Rev 12 – Earths view of the rapture Click on images for all scripture The rapture – invisible Church (man child) separates from the visible Church (sun clothed woman) and immediately caught up to God and His throne. Rev 4,5 showed us events from heavens side. John representing the believer heard a voice as of a trumpet, and immediately was caught up to God (Father - Ancient of Days) and His throne. The same is said in earth’s view (Rev 12). The man child – immediately caught up to God and to his throne.
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. Rapture Rev 4,5 – Heaven’s view of the rapture Rev 12 – Earths view of the rapture Click on images for all scripture Many say man child is Jesus. How can that be. Jesus lived 33 years, was crucified, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven slowly as a full grown man. Jesus did not flee from the devil, He defeated him. There are those who say that Revelation is chronological. Because the rapture took place in Rev 4 and now I go back to it in Rev 12 that this is wrong. Yet these same people go all the way back to Jesus birth. How could the man child be Jesus when the dragon has 10 horns. A clear study of Daniel 7 shows us the 10 horns is the final stage of the Roman Empire. In the time of Jesus the Roman Empire did not even split into two let alone nations.
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. The man child is to rule all nations with a rod of iron. Is this promise made anywhere to the raptured Saints – the overcomers. Clearly a yes – we read in Rev 2:26-28 Revelation 2:26-28 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. Who is an overcomer? 1 John 5:4,5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? Power over the nations Jesus say those that keepeth my works unto the end will have power over the nations. These works that endure will be works that have value and to be rewarded (1 Cor 3:11-14).
1 Corinthians 3:11-14 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. This is a truth Jesus taught in His parable of talents in Luke 19. When the Master returned to find out what they did with their talents one was rewarded with ruler ship over ten cities and another five cities. Luke 19:17-19 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. 18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. 19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
These truths are very important These truths are very important. For you starting position in the Kingdom of God after we return back to earth with Christ to rule and reign will be determined by the works you have done for Him since you were saved. We are a Kingdom of Priests and Kings. Priests serve; Kings rule.. Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Jesus said the Church of Thyatira overcomers Revelation 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. Currently the Kingdoms of this world are under Satan’s dominion for he is the god of this present age 2 Corinthians 4:3,4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Revelation 2:27,28 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star Jesus, after the rapture receives the title deed to the earth in Rev 5 from His Father. When Jesus finishes open the 7 seals of the title deed will legally take possession of all the nations of this world when He visibly returns. Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. When Christ returns he will destroy and burn Antichrist’s Empire and break it up as a potter would break a vessel into pieces. In that day we will share with Christ’s victory for the redeemed will be with Jesus as He makes war with the Beast and his armies in the great war for Jerusalem known as the battle of Armageddon (Rev 19:19-21). This overthrow of the Beast’s Kingdom was also symbolically foreshadowed in the complete destruction of the image of Daniel 2.
Rev 2:28 And I will give him the morning star. Revelation 19:19-21 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived hem that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Jesus added these words to the Thyatira Church in Rev 2:28 Rev 2:28 And I will give him the morning star. The morning star is planet Venus. This statement follows immediately after what is the natural progression of God’s Kingdom when the Kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdoms of His Lord and Christ. The Millennium reign is how long it takes to perfect the Kingdom. Following the Millennium is the perfect eternal state of the Kingdom which will increase forever. .
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. Concerning the man child as the true invisible Church within the sun clothed woman (visible Church) it is so exciting to know that all of creation is waiting to see who will be in the rapture. Who are the manifested Sons of God, the Joint heirs with Christ over all things. At the rapture we will receive the redemption of our body. Christ will not present us before the angels in heaven but to every creature when we return with Christ as Priests and Kings to this earth, Romans 8:17-23 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the
bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Jesus Himself said to look up for our redemption (of our body) is near when we see the initial signs (Lu 21:28) of many saying ‘I am Christ’ and wars that terrify but the end is not yet. Jesus does not mention Antichrist but adds new detail to both Daniel and Revelations (Click on image to enlarge)

The woman wastes no time fleeing into the wilderness. Before the man-child (invisible true church) was caught up (raptured) in Rev 12:5 the woman was pictured from Rev 12:1-4 as clothed with the sun professing to be the light of the world. The moon under her feet victorious over the powers of darnkness. Crown of 12 stars the N.T. Church ruling with divine authority. After the separation (rapture) of the

The visible unsaved Church was left behind and fulfilled Jesus words to the Apostate Laodicea Church. This Church saw itself as rich, increased with goods and in need of nothing but Jesus you are poor, wretched, miserable, blind and naked (Rev 3:17). These are the foolish virgins (Matt 25:1-13) that when the rapture came Jesus the bridegroom said ‘I know you not’. Jesus said
Rev 12 –1-4 Rev 12:5 Rev 12:6 Rev 12:5,6 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. the days preceding the rapture will be like the days of Noah. They were marrying and divorcing, eating and drinking, until the flood came and took them all away. Jesus referring to the rapture put it this way in Matt 24:40-42 Matt 24:40-42 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
This woman represents the living tares and living bad fish that Jesus said were in the net (Church) and at the end of the age (Church age) they will be separated. The wheat and good fish went up in the rapture, the tares and bad fish left behind. The bad fish and tares that died before the rapture were grouped into bundles in Hades and thrown into hell fire (see Matt 13 parables of Kingdom truths Jesus taught.)
Why did the woman flee and what wilderness did she flee into? Rev 12 –1-4 Rev 12:5 Rev 12:6 Rev 12:5,6 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. Why did the woman flee and what wilderness did she flee into? The church left behind know they missed the rapture and know from scriptures they heard that they are going to face great tribulation. They heard the Word of God and had the opportunity to be saved and to be caught up in the rapture and be a part of the manchild company (the true church (Rev 12:5)). Instead, they played church when all the prophetic signs were fulfilled to let them know different.
Now their in hiding because they cannot meet in their local church and homes anymore . Television, radio, internet will all be monitored for any evidence for those belonging to the Church. The world has become a wilderness experience - the Church left behind is on the run, she is fleeing into hiding and underground as best as she can. Jesus talked about the tribulation days and love of many shall wax cold. Those that turn to Christ after the rapture will be betrayed, offended, hated by all nations, afflicted, and killed (Matt 24:9-12).
Rev 12 –1-4 Rev 12:5 Rev 12:6 Matt 24:9-12 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Rev 12:5,6 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Rev 12 –1-4 Rev 12:5 Rev 12:6 The tribulation experience in the wilderness was prepared of God – that is – God knowing everything beforehand is fulfilling that which He pre-ordained and prophesized. The woman (Church left behind) manages to survive for 3 1/2 years. She survives that long because during this same time Christ opens up the 6 seals (Rev 6) in heaven that result in the Church left behind being fed the Word of God (Rev 12:6) which is preached from heaven by the raptured saints. The 6 seals also include worldwide war, famine, pestilence, earthquakes that hinder the Beast in his onslaught on the Church left behind (see reference chart). The Church is kept alive for 3 ½ years and out of her will comes a saved remnant, many being tribulation martyrs that did not receive the mark of the beast. Worship the beast or his false prophet. Rev 6, Rev 12:6-17, Rev 13 scriptures will be fully coved in the Christian tribulation section
Rev 12 –1-4 Rev 12:5 Rev 12:6 Again, the remaining verses of Rev 12, and all of Rev 13, and heavens view in Rev 6 all apply to post rapture events and concern the Church left behind on earth and will be fully discussed in the 3 ½ Christian tribulation period study. Remain of Rev 12 gives you some idea of that study. Revelation 12:7-17 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath,
