Instructional Strategies and Tasks: I will provide students with time to search for meanings. I will ask questions that require students to explain how they found the answers.

Objectives: General: to enhance the general English level and to develop confidence in acquiring the four basic skills ie listening, reading, speaking and writing. Specific: by the end of the topic, students will be able to read with concentration, learn to identify new words with correct pronunciation and comprehend the story.

Plan: We plan it before teaching: Coverage of The Subject Matter: Lesson: Mr Sharpe’s Fish Pg 70-73 A dialogue between Mr and Mrs Sharpe Mr Sharpe: Please cook this fish, we shall eat it at dinner Mrs Sharpe: Okay At dinner time Mr Sharpe: I am starving, what a lovely smell Mrs Sharpe: Eat noodles and vegetables. Mr Sharpe: But where is the fish I bought yesterday? Mrs Sharpe: Oh, the fish? That naughty cat ate it.

Analyse The teacher will listen to students to know about their reading skills. Tell the story in simple manner so that students will be able to comprehend. By correcting the pronunciation, students will easily learn the spellings Students will be able to ask questions, give outline of the story, inquire ,reason and develop decision making.

Creating Interest For creative thinking students will act a dialogue between Mr Sharpe and Mrs Sharpe imagining as character of the story. The students will be able to construct a story of their own. Take them to the aquarium. Play game in groups(catch the fish)

Evaluation The teacher will give them written work to do, Word/meaning. Word/sentences. Reference to the context. To criticize, argue, and justify the story.

Review it Final recapitulation Assessment by formative method: Oral questions will be asked to check students response and understanding. Assessment by summative method: Work sheet will be given; Make a pictorial story by yourself.

Share: By Sharing, students will improve their views and knowledge 1. Story: construct a pictorial story of your own. 2.Point out at least ten differences in the picture. 3.Game:Catch the fish. 4.Movie: Mind your language.000

Challenges that a teacher may face Problems: The parents may not understand my method. There are some students who do not want to work in groups. Solutions: A parent/teacher meeting to be arranged to highlight my method. Tell students learning is better, when they work together.

Assignment Make the title page. Learn all the work done in copy for test.
