(Formative Assessment) Explore: Newton's Laws of motion - Brainstorm how to propel a vehicle without electricity or the force of gravity. Ways that the vehicle can be designed so that it will travel in a straight line. Explain: Newton's Scooters Project Rules Elaborate: Students will begin to sketch their possible vehicles showing the forces of friction and gravity and how Newton's third Law applies to their sketch.
