Scott is a member of the advisory board and an active member of the community sponsoring many events. He currently serves on the Independence Mustang Foundation Board. Scott Geater, President Jerry Bitterman, CEO Jerry Bitterman started with GMM in July 1984 and currently serves as GMM's CEO. On top of his duties as CEO, Jerry focuses much of his attention on Sales as GMM works to diversify their customer base to reach their growth goals. Jerry serves as the Champion of the Leadership and Culture track of GMM's Lean Enterprise System. Jerry is a member of the advisory board, management team and senior leadership team. In the community he is an active member of Vistage 49 and serves on the advisory board of the Industrial Technology programs at both Independence High School and Hawkeye Community College. Joe Meier, VP of Operations Joe Meier joined the GMM team in 2005 as the Machining Manager. He held this position for one year before accepting the duties of Plant Manager. In June 2011, Joe became the V.P. of Operations at GMM. Joe is a graduate of Upper Iowa University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in business. Joe is a member of GMM’s advisory board, management team and senior leadership team, and serves as the Champion of the Workforce Development track of GMM's Lean Enterprise System. He is also a member of the CIRAS, (Center for Industrial Research and Services) of Iowa State Extension’s advisory committee and is on the Manufacturing Technology Advisory Board at the University of Northern Iowa.

Our Products/Services  We recently put into production a Mazak Dual Horizontal, 32 pallet, 500 mm FMS system which helps minimize our time in cut, enabling us to produce low and high volume production work with no setup. This technology has given us a 20% increase in productivity.  GMM’s protocell provides world class workmanship with industry leading turnaround times. Operators can run the equipment, do CNC programming and have CAD software to check parts to customer supplied models.  Our sheet metal fabrication equipment includes systems that laser, punch, notch, and form sheet metal parts and components.  We are an ISO 9001 & AS9100 registered facility. Our newest production piece, the Mazak Dual Horizontal, 32 pallet, 500 mm FMS system. This machine is equipped with 18,000 rpm spindles to help minimize time in cut. This center has increased GMM’s capacity by 15,000 hours annually and the Sail/Mast auto scheduling software allows flexibility in scheduling by allowing “hot jobs” to be given priority at the push of a button while long running jobs can be scheduled to run in a lights out environment.
