Discerning “Why is it Important?”

Discerning Does God really want us to understand and know His will? Why is it important that we know what His will is? How does He reveal His will to us? Does He have a specific will for me?

Discerning How do I find out what God’s will is for me? How will He show me? How can I know for sure what is (or is not) God’s will for me? What are the hindrances and obstacles I will face?

Discerning THREE QUESTIONS: 1. Does God really want us to know? 2. Why is it important for us to know God’s will? 3. How does God reveal His will to us?

Discerning A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF… 1. What is on God’s heart. 2. Why He does what He does. 3. How our lives can count.

Discerning “Be very careful, then, how you live- - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.” Ephesians 5:17

Discerning “So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.

Discerning “Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.” Colossians 1:9-10

Discerning “Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.” Colossians 4:12
