Trinity / The Number 3 Most obvious manifestation of the spiritually significant number 3. Completes the triumvirate along with Neo and Morpheus The 3 characters could be symbolic for the Christian Holy Trinity.

Forbidden Fruit Red Pill / Blue Pill scene is analogous to the Adam and Eve story in the Bible By taking the red pill, Neo is subjected to a new knowledge that could not have previously been felt, like Eve. Interesting contrast- Red pill creates savior, Fruit creates necessity for savior.
