Promises Only God Could Keep 2 Cor. 1:20

Constant Care n “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Heb. 13:5). n The same promise that was made to Moses (Deut. 31:5) and Joshua (Josh 1:5) was made to us! n When were are about his business, we will never be alone (Matt. 28:20).

True Wisdom n Given to Solomon (1 Kings 3:9) n It is “from above” (James 3:17) and is: –Pure –Peaceable –Gentle –Reasonable –Full of mercy and good fruits –Unwavering –Authentic (without hypocrisy)

Full Forgiveness n Acts 2:38 – the church begins with a promise of forgiveness! n “Who can forgive sins but God alone?” (Mk. 2:7) –The answer: No one! n Forgiveness is complete and profound (Matt:18:32).

To Be a Partaker of the Divine n 2 Pet. 1:4 “He has granted unto us his precious and magnificent promises, that by them you should become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption of the world.” n We are made in God’s image (Gen. 1:26). n We are adopted as sons (Gal. 4:5,6). n Becoming like Him continues (1 John 3:2).
