TODAY IS THE DAY OF THE SHOW!!! People are coming from all over the county to show their horses!! Competition will be tough but anyone can do it!! There is going to be all sorts of horses. –D–Draft –P–Ponies –Q–Quarter Horses –A–And anything else you can imagine!!!

WELCOME TO THE SHOW!!

Warm up can be a very dangerous time. People are flying all over the place and no one can control what they are doing. Some horses are more sensitive to what’s going on around them, so some of them spook and freak out at little things. All I can say is… PEOPLE BE CAREFUL!!

Hey!! WATCH OUT!!

This is the first class of the day. This class is called Hunter Under Saddle This class is judged on the horse and how they carry themselves. Horses need to be cooperative and do what the announcer and the rider say to do. If any horses do not do what they are told or are out of control, they are will be disqualified from the class. Horses must perform to their best to receive first place.

Please walk You all may line up in the middle #1 #2 #3 Third Place- #1 Second Place- #3 And First place- #2!!

This is the second class of the day. It is called western pleasure. This is my personal favorite. In this class a person must stand out to be noticed at all. Do not hide behind anyone or you will not get noticed and wont place in the class. In this class a horse must look like “a pleasure to ride.” The horse must be in control with a loose rein and respond to cues not visible to the judge or the spectators.

Please Trot. Please line up in the middle. #1 #2 The Winners Are: Second place to #1 And First Place to #2! Congrats to all

Now it is lunch time!! This is a time where no one rides and just refuels for the afternoon classes. Horses are put back at the trailer. There they can get more water and pig out on their hay while they take a break. This is a good rest period so the horse can gain some energy back, otherwise they get cranky and don’t perform well. If that happens nothing goes well.  This is what happens if you don’t take a break 

Menu: Nachos Hamburgers And hotdogs

The next class of the day is called Showmanship. It is a non-riding class It is judged on the riders ability to show off their horse. The person must be confident and look just like a “Barbie doll” This class is difficult if the horse isnt trained correctly. Like all other classes if the horse doesn’t respond or goes out of control they will be disqualified. HAVE FUN!!!

Go Ahead Since there was only one person first place goes to #1!!

The show is finally over Everyone did amazing today!! English went very well!! Western was a blast! Showmanship was the best I’ve ever seen!! Now its time to get the awards for high point and over-all. Any by the way this picture is ME!!!  That’s my horse Dynamic Lady Leaguer aka DAISY!!!

GRAND PRIZE!! Welcome all to the fifth annual daisy duke horse show The Overall winner who wins a plaque is Jamie Howard!! CONGRATS Jamie!! And the winner of the grand prize, which is a new saddle, is… JUDY HARTRIDGE!!

This show went by great today!! Congrats to all!!! You did beyond amazing. My best piece of advice for your next show is: –E–Even if you didn’t win keep trying. –M–Make mistakes a learning opportunity to move forward
