The Food Bank at the YMCA needs donations of peanut butter, tuna, canned meat, soups with protein (chicken & vegetable beef), canned fruit, and applesauce. Use the barrel in the YMCA lobby. Thank you. Peanut-free zone Due to a life-threatening peanut allergy in our congregation we are a peanut-free zone for all snacks and refreshments. Thank you for honoring this when you provide food. Open Communion In The United Methodist Church, communion is celebrated at an open table. This means that all persons who, by faith, desire to know God’s peace, forgiveness and wholeness in Jesus Christ are welcome. Children brought by their parents also are welcome as an expression and extension of their parents’ faith. You do not have to belong to any particular church or denomination to be a “qualified” participant. The meal (juice and bread) comes from Jesus, and the love God offers us through him has no barriers
