TRANSNATIONAL YOUTH MEETINGS HORIZONTS TOWARD EMPLOYABILITY INFOPACK Las Rozas de Madrid, Spain 20 nd to 26 th, February 2015 HORIZONTS TOWARDS EMPLOYABILITY

ABOUT THE INTERCHANGE The project ‘NEW SOURCES OF EMPLOYABILITY’ will take place in Las Rozas de Madrid (Spain) from 20th to 26 th February, It will host participants from six different countries of southern Europe. It invites a total of forty young people between eighteen and thirty. The main objective is to work in order to create a platform that encourages reflection, exchange of ideas and experiences among young people, policy makers and other social agents. The participants will be encouraged to develop their critical thinking skills, brainstorming, discussions and skills so that young people can face the modern democratic society, that raises new presonal rates, professional and community challenges. The meeting will include the participation of various responsible organizations as Madrid-Embark, Commission of the European Parliament in Spain, Madrid Assembly Youth Council of the City of Las Rozas, etc... The program includes lectures, practical and theoretical activities, along with case studies, debates, group workshops, etc… A final event will also be performed in which the conclusions of the activity will arise, publishing a report that will be available to all participants, spreading it among politicians and other social agents.

REIMBURSEMENT During the exchange: We will reimburse THE 70% AMOUNT of the travelling expenses, in cash, on the condition: - to have sent the filled documents of travel and the copies of expenses by , as expected; - to have the invoices in original with you during the exchange (flight ticket and other handling charges); - to have boarding passes, train tickets and/or bus tickets… This are, if we can say like this, the most important ones ! ` HORIZONTS TOWARDS EMPLOYABILITY Health Insurance We strongly recommend you to have a health insurance during the time of this project. It’s not expensive, euro and it takes only 10 minutes to make one. Take into consideration that you will be in a foreign country with strangers and in case if something’s going to be wrong, you will need it. Or you can get your Public healthcare is generally free of charge in Spain and the European Health Insurance Card entitles its holder to be treated on the same terms as Spanish nationals. But it is not an assistance travel insurance. We recommend you to contract one.

HORIZONTS TOWARDS EMPLOYABILITY WE WILL NOT REIMBURSE: The expenses of renewal of passport. The expenses of insurance. The charges of change of flight ticket. The travelling expenses outside of itinerary from your country. The travelling expenses outside of the interchange time. The price difference between the granted amount and the real price of your trip.

HORIZONTS TOWARDS EMPLOYABILITY WORKING LANGUAGE Working language of this training course is English. Your English doesn’t need to be perfect, neither is ours ! Better a little Englishthen no any language communication at all. It’s important to respect and understand each other !

HORIZONTS TOWARDS EMPLOYABILITY ´ Checklist Before leaving check all the items on this list:  Read this document all the way through at least once.  Read the Calendar with al the programmed activities to be ready.  Bring an open-minded attitude, positive energy, good mood for you and a bit more to share with others  Take your Passport and ID. Also your student card if you have one  Check your plane tickets, see if there is the date, destination and your name clearly and correctly written  Take all your travel documents: bills, tickets, invoices  Take personal hygienically products, umbrella, warm clothes  Typical foods and drinks from your country for the intercultural night. Also music, traditional objects and clothes  Bring some snickers in order to feel comfortable during our activities and sllipers (houseshoe for indoor and shower)  Bring your photo cameras – you will need them.  Health Insurance
