Invention and idea

When was the first computer invented?  The first mechanical computer was invented by Charles Babbage an English mechanical engineer and polymath, originated the concept of a programmable computer, but it does not resemble to a modern day computer at all!  The word computer was first recorded in 1613 and was originally used to describe a human who performed calculations!

The difference engine base! Charles Babbage.

 After Babbage's computer there came a new era of computers which replaced transistors with tubes.

 Considered a "father of the computer", Babbage is credited with inventing the first mechanical computer that eventually led to more complex designs. His varied work in other fields has led him to be described as "pre-eminent" among the many polymaths of his century.

A new era of computers!

Macintosh 128K  Made: January 24,1984 (30 years ago)  Introductory price: US$ 2,495  Discontinued October 1, 1985  Memory 128 KB (built-in)  The Macintosh was designed to achieve adequate graphics performance, which had previously required hardware costing over US$100,000, a price inaccessible to the middle class.

 The Macintosh 128K, released initially as simply the "Apple Macintosh“  After its successor, the Macintosh 512K, was introduced, it was rebadged as the Macintosh 128K.

 The Macintosh 128K, released initially as simply the "Apple Macintosh“  After its successor, the Macintosh 512K, was introduced, it was rebadged as the Macintosh 128K.

Windows  The history of Windows dates back to September 1981, when Chase Bishop, a computer scientist, designed the first model of an electronic device and project "Interface Manager" was started. It was announced in November 1983

 Windows 1.0 is not a complete operating system; rather, it extends MS-DOS. The shell of Windows 1.0 is a program known as the MS-DOS Executive. Components included Calculator, Calendar, Cardfile, Clipboard viewer, Clock, Control Panel, Notepad, Paint, Reversi, Terminal and Write.
