Jobs in the UK and other countries Take a walk around the local area and take pictures of workplaces Reflect on the walk and talk about jobs that people do here Use photos from the walk, from Life in Bangladesh teaching resource (see webpage – examples included below) and from internet for children to discuss in groups Children talk about jobs people are doing and collect words in different languages arising from the photos Feedback to the class: compare vocabulary, discuss working environments in different countries, products being made in other countries and bought in UK
