22 Northeast: Clear Policy Direction, Challenging Path For the most part, states have spoken Concern over climate, environment Desire for local economic growth, foothold in clean energy economy Energy/environmental goals are captured in energy policy RGGI, support for federal climate legislation Aggressive efficiency, demand response Renewable portfolio standards Net metering, support for small-scale renewables And… Push for grid-scale wind and other renewables But how do we get there?
