Case 40: 3CX Phone System with Planet FXO Gateway Application This instruction guides how to integrate Planet FXO gateway with 3CX phone system, to establish the PSTN reachable demand. Please refer to the following descriptions and insert proper parameters configurations into the each device for establish the voice communications.

Select the [Extensions] menu of 3CX to create extension for IP Phone. Extension Number :100 ID : 100 Password : 100 Afterward click the OK to add that 1 2

Select the [PSTN devices ->Add Gateway] of 3CX to add the VIP-480FO Name : VIP-480FO Brand : Generic Model : Gateway Device Click the Next button for next step 4

Select the [Attendant Number] of IPX-300 to assign a AA extension number for Gateway hotline setting. 5 Gateway Host or IP : 192.168.0.30 Gateway Port : 5060 Number of ports : 4 Type: Analog Click the Next button for next step 6

8 7 System will add 4 Virtual extension for Gateway registration automatically Click the Next button for next step

8 Calls to numbers starting with (Prefix) : 0 Strip Digit : 0 Prepend : (Blank) Afterward click the Finish to completely that

Select the [Advance Setup ->VoIP Basic] of Gateway to setting port number configuration. 9 10 VoIP Basic Configuration: Number :10000~10003 Check Reg Account: 10000~10003 Password: 10000~10003 Use Public Account: Disable Check Hunting Member Port 1 ~ Port 4 This function is when the port 1 be communicating, and it another SIP calls from network will forward to other port automatically.

11 12 SIP Proxy Setting: Domain/Realm: 192.168.0.200 SIP Proxy Server: 192.168.0.200/5060 SIP Authentication : Enable About the IP address please refer to previous topology. 12 Click the Apply button to complete the VoIP Basic configuration.

Case 3: IP PBX-Trunk-Gateway Configuration Select the [Dialing Plan] of Gateway to add the Dialing Plan Number. 13 Incoming Dial Plan Settings: Outgoing no: 0X Length of Number: 2 ~ 20 Delete Length: 1 Prefix no.: (Null) Destination Telephone Port : 1,2,3,4 14

Select the [Hot Line Setting] of Gateway to add the Hot Line Number. 15 Hot Line Number Setting : Port 1~Port 4 Number : 100 16 17 18 Click the Save Configuration hyper-link to save the whole parameters and then click the Reboot to restart system. Click on the Apply button to complete the modification.

For example: 1.From IP Phone make a call to PSTN (One-stage dial method) Step 1. Pickup the handset and hearing a dial-tone, then to input a number 022199518# Step 2. You will be hear to the ring-back tone, waiting for remote to pickup the call. Note: 0 is the PSTN Prefix number, IP Phone have to dial it before the desired PSTN number 2.From local phone (PSTN) make a call into 3CX through FXO. Step 1. Pickup the handset of local phone and hearing a dial-tone, input number 858075 Step 2. The ext.100 will ring up for answering the call Note: All of incoming PSTN calls will redirect to ext.100 automatically NOTE: The mentioned parameters and network settings in this sample be carefully modified to meet the real-world applications.
