Improved Transportation Brings Growth Vocabulary Review

Conestoga Wagon A large covered wagon that westward-bound settlers used to carry themselves and their belongings; the wheels were 6-10 inches wide, canvas cloth was stretched over wood staves, and the ends of the wagon bed were higher to keep goods from falling out.
