The detection is reported to the local police. -A second, and then third report of the chemical smell 2 kilometers southwest is received, along with sightings of a commercial truck bearing HAZMAT markings. -The UN Code for chlorine is broadcast to local police units, and emergency response forces for vehicle tracking and stoppage.
