Environmental and infrastructure assistance funded by the US Government September, 2004

US Government (USG) assistance in Romania is provided in the environmental and infrastructure sectors through the US Foreign Commercial Section (FCS) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID)US Government (USG) assistance in Romania is provided in the environmental and infrastructure sectors through the US Foreign Commercial Section (FCS) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Assistance includes support to national and local governmental agencies, private companies and environmental NGOsAssistance includes support to national and local governmental agencies, private companies and environmental NGOs

Financial assistance provided by FCS Trade and Development Agency (TDA)Trade and Development Agency (TDA) –Funds feasibility studies, orientation visits and technical assistance. Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im Bank)Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im Bank) –Helps finance the overseas sales of U.S. goods and services. Overseas Private Investment Corp. (OPIC)Overseas Private Investment Corp. (OPIC) –Insures investments against political risks; provides loans and loan guaranties.
