It was 10 o’clock at the pizza making factory in Philadelphia. It was two nights after Pablo, the manager made the secret formula to put in the sauce.

He keeps the recipe in a box, inside the safe. There was a security guard that watched the factory. He had camera views for all the entry ways and where they made the pizza. However Pablo's office did not…

Joe the security guard checks Pablo's office every hour. When he came in at 9:00 every thing was fine but at 10:00 when Joe came in, the safe was open and the box had a hole in it.

The formula was gone! Joe immediately called Pablo. He came straight to the factory and called the police. The police said they were at a more important job and they would come in the morning.

The next morning when the police arrived, they interviewed the guard, all the workers, the taco man and the chocolate man. The taco restaurant is next to the pizza factory and the chocolate factory is across the street.

When they interviewed the taco man, he said that the chocolate man told him he was going to steal the formula. By the way, when the police searched the room they found a penny and half of a taco.

The police asked the taco man about the taco they found and he said the chocolate man probably put that there to make it look like he did it. The police asked the chocolate man for his alibi and he said he was in bed at 10:00 that night.

Meanwhile, the other policemen found a finger print on the penny and went to take it to the crime lab to get it tested.

After it got tested they had matched the fingerprint to José, the taco man! “José why did you steal the recipe?” questioned the policeman.

“I did it because I thought it would be good for taco sauce,” Jose explained. “Business has been bad and I know how great the pizza sauce recipe is. I thought it would make my restaurant more popular.” So, José was put in jail for burglary and illicit entry.
