Our Animal Exhibit By Mrs. Flaherty’s Class

Appaloosa Horse by Sabrina This is an Appaloosa horse. It can be 14 to 16 hands tall and weighs 1,100 pounds. It has a spotted coat. It eats grain and drinks water. To take care of it you need to feed it and ride it for exercise.

Arctic Hares by Alessandra This is an arctic hare. It is a large rabbit. It has gray fur in the winter and brown fur in the summer. It lives in burrows underground. It eats roots, moss, lichen, plants, leaves and berries.
