REVIVE US AGAIN!

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

“Revive us again,” “But not now.”

I. WE MUST ADMIT IT IS OUR FAULT.

The reason that America is a mess is because the American church is a mess!

Joshua 7:10: “The Lord said to Joshua, "Stand up! What are you doing down on your face?”

Verses “Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen,

they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions. That is why the Israelites cannot stand against their enemies; they turn their backs and run because

they have been made liable to destruction. I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy whatever among you is devoted to destruction.”

They wanted the victory of God enough that they immediately corrected the problem and obeyed God.

This is where RCBC finds herself. We don’t have the power of God for the victories we need. There is sin in the camp.

“When you get serious about wanting true spiritual victory, then and only then will I work.”

II. GOD’S PRESCRIPTION FOR THE DEFEATED

A. HUMBLE YOURSELF.

1 Peter 5-6: “For God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you at the proper time.”

B.SEEK HIS FACE. “To him that knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” (James 4:17)

C. TURN FROM YOUR WICKED WAYS.

There’s sin in the camp. Are you willing to remove it so we can have victory? Then let’s sing revive us again-and do it today!
