Identity Theft. Identity thieves steal your name, address and your credit card number. They then use all your information to buy or rip off other people by pretending to be you. So you can lose some money or even worse be charged for something you haven’t done !

Tips. You shouldn’t post your name, age, address online. You shouldn’t chat with person you don’t know. Don’t trust anyone. Check the identity of person you chat with. Check if the website is secure.

What is cyberbullying ? Cyber bullying affects many adolescents and teens on a daily basis. Cyber bullying involves using technology, like cell phones and the Internet, to bully or harass another person.

Cyber bullying can take many forms : Sending mean messages or threats to a person's email account or cell phone Spreading rumors online or through texts Posting hurtful or threatening messages on social networking sites or web pages Stealing a person's account information to break into their account and send fake messages Pretending to be someone else online to hurt another person Taking unflattering pictures of a person and spreading them through cell phones or the Internet circulating sexually suggestive pictures or messages about a person .

Solutions : you should never give any private information over the internet. You should delete suspicious emails without opening it You should never share a password or personal info with anyone.

Now, pay attention to what you post on the internet and think of others…

Fake identity… An adult who wants teens to believe that they are the same age as you and would like to be your friend … they want to get information about you: address , phone number …

…can be a child Molester A login could hide anyone ! Be careful on the internet

These people are two faced These people are two faced. They tempt children on the web, by using chatrooms. They invent a login, chat with young people, get close to them and finally ask them to meet face to face. Or sometimes they collect personal information about children and try to organise a kidnapping. They also use the internet to exchange photos with naked images.

Never trust appearances !! Advice Never give your name, address, phone number on the internet… If someone asks you for personal information, or harass you , you must report it to your parents! Don’t agree for a meeting with people you don’t know! Never trust appearances !!

Dangers of social networks Solutions When signing up to theese social networks be selective on what imfromation you give and adjust you privacy settings so only your freinds can see your page. Be carefull what you say and what pictures and videos of you are posted on the web. When You sign up to a social network it will usualy ask for some personal details, while this may be useful for meeting new freinds and finding out imfromation about your own freinds it may also be used by poreditors to gain your trust and lure you into a trap. The imfromation given may also be used for identity theft. Photos, Videos and statements that are posted on the web are then out of your control. Future employers mite get the wrong impression of you from things that have been posted in the past.
