BTP Paddington Property Marking Event January 22 nd 2010

Not in My Neighbourhood Week is a Home Office initiative targeting crime and anti social behaviour. In November 2009 an event was held at Paddington to target theft of passenger property offering crime prevention services and advice to the public. The success of this event lead to NPT running another bike micro chipping stand and crime prevention stand next to the main bike racks on Platform 8.

During the event, 103 passengers were helped in one way or another, 55 bikes were tagged and 27 mobile phones were marked using UV pens. The feedback received through surveys is shown in the next few slides, including comparisons with the results from the event held in November 2009.
