2 1.Sign on to the register with your associate number and password. 2.Enter the salesperson number. 3.On the keyboard, press ENTER. 4.Enter the customer’s last name, first name, phone number, and zip code. 5.Press, and save the customer information. 6.Press. 7.Press. 8.Press. 9.Press when notified the layaway must be a minimum of $ Scan the items. 11.Press. 12.Press. 13.When prompted to create the fee amount, press to accept the default. 14.When prompted for the deposit amount, press to accept the default 20%, or press modify to enter a higher amount based on the customer preference. 15.If you are entering a higher amount, enter the new deposit amount in the New Deposit Amount text box. Then press. 16.Press. 17.Process the payment. 18.File the store receipt. Attach the product receipt to the merchandise, and give the other receipt to the customer. Create a Layaway

Note: You can locate the layaway number on any of the receipts.

When cancelling a layaway, you must cancel the entire layaway and not particular items.
