Intentional Adulteration Comment Period Extended to June 30. Safe Transportation Rule Comment Period closes May 31

Preventive Controls Feed Comments Focused on: Hazards Reasonable Likely to Occur Inspector Training Animal Feed vs. Pet Food Animal Food Defination Validation vs. Verification De Minimis Sales by a Farm to Outside Parties Need for Additional Flexibility Quality Control Small Business Defination

FDA reaches settlement with Center for Food Safety (CFS) over deadlines for FSMA rules. Originally set for June 2015 by Court Order August 30, 2015 for PC Human and Animal Feed October 31, 2015 for Produce Safety, Foreign Supplier Verification, and 3 rd Party Accreditation. March 31, 2016 for Sanitary Transportation. May 31, 2016 for Intentional Adulteration. This ends the lawsuit and allows for more robust public participation in the rulemaking process.
