some, others, still others 1. For some, a friend is someone who chats with you on the Internet. For others, a friend is someone who has known you all your life. Still others only use the term for someone who knows your innermost secrets.

some, others, still others 2. Many people hold different ideas about aliens. Some say that life on Earth originally came from outer space. Others say that aliens have kept an eye on what happens on Earth. Still others say that aliens have something to do with ancient civilizations ( 古文明 ).

David is doing a research on people's opinions about marriage. He has interviewed ( 訪問 ) many people. Complete his statements by using the above pattern. The first one has been done for you. I talked to people to get their opinions on marriage. (Asia; Europe; America) Some were from Asia. Others were from Europe. Still others were from America. 1.

I spoke to people of all ages. (below 20; between 20 and 30; between 30 and 40) 2. Some were below 20. Others were between 20 and 30. Still others were between 30 and I talked to people of different marital status ( 婚姻狀況 ). (single; married; separated from their spouses) Some were single. Others were married. Still others were separated from their spouses.
